I have eaten there twice this week and utterly disappointed and no longer will consider this my favorite location in the metroplex. Each time no silverware has been available and I was told each time at the register your server will bring it to you. When you ask for silverware it seems to be a burden. There is plastic silverware packaged at the register for a $1.00 each which I think is ridiculous. On Thursday I asked Danita for silverware and she looked at me and walked off never acknowledging me at all. I sat waiting for silverware and I see her chatting with the police officers who are eating nearby. Annoyed I get up and ask another server for silverware and she says and how are you doing today in a manner to let me know she didn't appreciate me asking for silverware, but she did bring it. I apologized to her and let her know my frustration for being ignored by previous server was reason I was abrupt with her. Today my mother and I arrive and lo and behold my mom sits in section where Danita is the server. I was frustrated thinking of my experience the day before;however, she provided the necessary service. I ordered chicken fried steak and Danita took my number from table to bring to me and I cut into chicken fried chicken. When I tell her that is not what I ordered she tells me that is what they had on ticket and when I reach for my receipt she tells me I believe you. I should have been given an apology and provided with my order and not been challenged about an error made on the line when I placed order. I really was looking forward to fried pork chops on each visit and a yellow coconut pineapple cake and neither of my desires was available. No plans to visit here again but plan on trying to find another location that satisfies all around...
Read moreThis review is solely based on the nasty attitude & behavior presented by the African American male manager on duty on Saturday, November 26th. I had a Grubhub order that was placed on-behalf of GH which meant I only needed to pickup & pay for the order - I did NOT need to place the order for the customer. However, the manager refused to abide by this.
Upon entering, I approached the sectioned off area to the left specifically for third-party delivery services. Instead of being greeted & helped promptly. I watched the manager & multiple staff members walk right by as if they didn't see me. They very much did see me but avoided helping me in any manner. Eventually a young lady who was finishing up an Uber order asked if I had been helped yet. I informed her no & she attempted to help me right away. However, the order could not be found in the tablets the checked. She spoke with the manager for assistance & he stated that neither him or the staff would complete the order. He wanted me to get in the extremely long cafeteria line & do the customers order. I made it very clear to him that GH stated they needed to make the order we are not to place the order - he refused yet again. I asked why could he not make the order just like they were doing for all the others that came through that I saw them do right in front of me while ignoring me & he yelled at me to get in line. I immediately stated I would not & had GH reassign the order to someone else. No one should ever have to deal with disrespect & I will make sure to never do another order at this location. Read moreI was very disappointed today. I had order online, so I knew I had to wait. But I notice everyone who order on the inside where getting there order, but I had been sitting there 20 mins, I hadn't received my order. I notice everyone who came in after I had already order, had received their order and gone. So I decided to check with someone to let them know I had order online, but the man in the hat didn't allow me to finish what I needed to say, he blew me off and stated your ordered will be ready when it comes up. So I went and sat down, but I notice everyone on the inside were getting there order. I decided I wanted my money back because of back customer service. I went to the cashier to let her know I wanted to speak to the manager, so she was nice to go get him, come to find out the man in the hat was the manager. I told him I wanted my money back and he told me once the receipt comes up, I will receive my money back. Too make a long story short, I receive money thru I guess the other manager. The other manager who was in all black gave me back my money, and I told him the manager blew me off and i won't be back for awhile. I was very disappointed today. I felt no one care. A customer and I were walking out together, and she ask me you didn't receive anything and I told her no, she said to me you were in here before I was, she notice. This location needs a better system. Please in the future check the online orders as well. The food is not bad, servers are great, but management needs to work on...
