I recently had the pleasure of dining at OOH! SUSHI, and it was an experience worth sharing. Nestled in a cozy spot in the city, this sushi restaurant stands out with its vibrant ambiance and exceptional service.
Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were both friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The decor is modern yet inviting, with subtle Japanese elements that create a serene dining atmosphere.
The menu at OOH! SUSHI is extensive, offering a wide variety of sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls. I started with the miso soup, which was perfectly seasoned and a great way to kick off the meal. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every dish.
The highlight of my visit was the sushi platter. Each piece was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The tuna and salmon sashimi melted in my mouth, while the specialty rolls, like the Dragon Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll, were bursting with flavor. The rice was well-prepared, maintaining the ideal balance of texture and taste.
In addition to the sushi, I also tried their tempura and gyoza, both of which were cooked to perfection. The tempura was light and crispy, not overly greasy, and the gyoza had a delicious filling with a perfectly crisp exterior.
The service at OOH! SUSHI was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. They were also very accommodating to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring that everyone in our party had a fantastic dining experience.
The prices at OOH! SUSHI are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. It's an excellent spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Overall, OOH! SUSHI offers a delightful sushi experience with its fresh ingredients, creative menu, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it to sushi enthusiasts and anyone looking to enjoy a...
Read moreWas very slow. It's overpriced and I've had better. There was a homeless guy I bought dinner for, and the staff wanted him to stay outside. I asked him to sit with us, to eat and stay out the cold. Apparently he's caused problems there by intimidating others, and the staff said he's not welcome, but they don't call law enforcement either. I spent $70 for lunch. A bit over the top, but we got 2 apps, one was the calamari and it was good. The potstickers weren't made as I asked them to be, but still ok. Mine are better at home. Dynamite roll was good. Spider roll was not. Plum wine was good. The homeless guy ordered shrimp fried rice but they said he could have chicken fried rice. Idk why? I paid for it. Anyway, I am a little torn at how to view or feel the situation bc I don't live or frequent that area, so I'm unsure of the history. I just know that I invited him to sit and eat bc he's also a person, and I would want to be treated better than a dog. I was taking responsibility for him as my guest and was met with hesitation and felt it was rude to put him out. I can't be 100% either way in this situation. Jesus chilled with the worst people in society. So I feel like I was right. They felt they were right. I took offense to the way he was treated. Again, I've no background info, so who's to say my perception was on point. I'll just avoid this place and not have the opportunity to take offense...
Read moreI was just at this place earlier this mid-afternoon. I was in Dallas making a sale and saw this place on my way while taking hwy 12. I'm glad I stopped on my way back to Fort Worth. The couple who run this place are just so nice and adorable. Not to mention the atmosphere here screams Sushi Restaurant. It's a Hole-in-the-Wall place.
I'm sure it's because of the pandemic I had to wait a bit since it was only the both of them working, but the wait was worth it. I ordered the Baked Salmon Roll, and Tempura Calamari Roll, along with Squid Sashimi. The Sashimi were cut in proportions larger than at expensive restaurants I've visited and they took time to present it in a nice appearance with lemon slices.. I downed the rolls and Squid and succumbed to the Itis, soon after.
I'm going to go to this place again, it's worth the drive. And after this pandemic is over, it's defiantly a nice place to take a date too.
I usually don't tip because I think tipping in America should be banned, but please do tip here. The owners deserve it. If you love sushi, then you won't be...
