Ronnie’s Catfish & More (Pleasant Grove) — Restaurant in Dallas

Nice guys but place is Very dirty! Needs to be shut down to deep clean. Walking in my shoe got stuck on the floor and my foot slipped out it was so sticky! Major health Hazzard! I was scared to eat my food because of how dirty it was but I didn't want to judge the food just because the exterior looked bad so I ate some of it anyways. I was disappointed because my fish filets looked like it was only one cut in 1/2 to make two nuggets. The flavor was mild but not bad.. The shrimps were horrible. I don't know if they were overcooked or what but they were very rubbery and I couldn't even tear it apart . I ended up having to cut it in half just to see what the inside looked like and it looked like a clear plastic rubber that was melted. Not to say that's what it was just saying that's how it looked it was so bad. the fries were very fresh. Will probably try to go to a different location to see if there is better luck but will not go back to this...

My fiancé and I went for the first time and the male taking the order stated “we don’t allow people to take their time with orders, we prefer call in orders.” He basically rush us after 3mins and didn’t want to answer any questions. Talking about “standing here, it’s a health code violation and we don’t won’t the fees.” It was only two of us after 7:30pm! What!?!? In that dirty, shoes sticking to the floor, no hair nets, no gloves, no masks wearing staff, RESTAURANT! Board of health, hurry up and come shut them down bc…NO! He was rude, impatient, not welcoming and I hope he jinks the establishment with that violation health fee lie he made up! Who’s the owner and do they even care about the establishment!? Excellent Customer Service! I went to Ronnie's for the 1st time in years this week. I met who appeared to be a member of management named DeMarlo. She advised me when I arrived that she was out of a few menu items but quickly offered alternatives. She was very nice and I loved her spirit and demeanor. I ordered a 6 piece bone in fish (steaks) which came with fries, salad, toast, peppers, and plenty of condiments. I inquired about a few other items for future reference then went to my car to wait for my order. DeMarlo brought my order to my car and delivered it to me and gave me a free jumbo shrimp to taste. As a result of her customer service I will be returning as a regular customer and buying those shrimp as well! THANK YOU DEMARLO! YOU...
