El Trompo Loco — Restaurant in Dallas

Me & family pulled up late night probably 1hr before closing, got tacos de pastor and a quesadilla. Came here since it had really great reviews but honestly it was the worst taco truck food we ever had, it cause us stomach upsetting the next day after. When we got there, there was no menu at all and no prices we had to ask a question each time how much or how much total we looking at. Since we didn’t know if it was cash only so we took money out. The tacos of pastor was weird something we never seen before it honestly needed more seasoning. They don’t add the toppings on the taco which we had to do it was weird most people put it on but if you wanted on the side you requested it we didn’t. The quesadilla we received was very oily.. we wanted a torta but it was $12 we never seen a torta so expensive.. usually the highest we seen is $7.00 we come from a different city. Can’t complain they did add a good amount of onions, limes, sauces but other than that no.. I do not recommend.

They need a menu with prices, this place was not affordable we spent $30 on...

Remember it's a food truck, so the atmosphere is in pleasant grove, so a lil hood. The service was good just don't like the fact when you pay for a drink, they give the cup when you get your food, obviously because people take advantage of agua frescas since you serv yourself, no refills. The food was good. I got tacos campechanos with is fajita and chorizo, nice and tender and good mix flavor together and not skimpy. Tacos de trompo, we got the special 15 tacos for 20 dollars, the flavor was really good and seasoned, maybe a little to much achieved because my fingers looked like a I ate hot cheetos, meaning red fingers, but I liked them. Would I be coming back definitely yes. 8 out of 10. They also give potatoes with your tacos fixings. They also good and soft....

We ordered the 15 tacos for $20, tacos were super greasy, fast service but it seems like they already have it ready so when we got them, they were like soggy from all the hot moisture.
