Taqueria Taxco — Restaurant in Dallas

I've tried authentic tacos de trompo everywhere in Dallas. And they're all amazing. So coming here trying tacos was out of the question. I wanted to try other menus and test their quality. I ordered enchiladas verdes. And I quickly noticed it's being microwaved. Not a good sign to start off. Then again almost every mexican restaurant do heat their food with microwave. I should have known better ordering enchiladas at a gas station. Anyway when I gave it a taste test. The enchiladas were good for being microwaved. I ate it all. The issue was the rice. A bit too salty and has a fishy after taste. I was speechless and confused. Rice that has a fishy after taste? Enchiladas are good but not great. Rice is awful. This gas station restaurant may be one of those menus where tacos de trompo are the only thing great on the menu. Everything else isn't good. Keep in mind I did say it may be one of those restaurants where only one food in the menu is great and the rest is nasty. I haven't tried the rest of the menu. And after that experience I know I won't try the rest of the menu....

This was the WORST taqueria taxco I’ve ever been to the little short lady with glasses behind the counter rushed to make my order, didn’t greet us, tried to tell us they had no bacon and then added bacon that was not cooked as you can see in the picture and the other lady at the register kept rushing me to hurry up and buy my chips and drink, nothing looked fresh and the salsa is prepackaged not even made in house, and did I mention the bacon wasn’t cooked nor the potatoes on my breakfast burrito she rushed within the time it took me to find what I wanted to drink she finished making TWO burritos neither were cooked thoroughly as u can see in the picture I will never go here again nor would I suggest it to...

Horrible. I bought $43 worth of food. It was 10 tacos, a flauta plate and two tamales. I was feeding 4 peope. The lady gave me 3 small salsa packs. She pretended that she didn't understand why I was asking for more salsa. A guy came in and I asked him to ask her for more salsa. She fussed about it and finally GRACED ME with2 more. If I can walk in and spend that much money, I promise you SHOULD GIVE ME SALSA. That's pretty basic. But seeing that you don't get that, too bad. So sad. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ZERO STARS.
