I walk in with my wife and kids to have breakfast. When I came in there was one person ahead of me.The lady DEDE said I had to sign in to make sure I did not get skipped which is understandable so I sign in.The person that was a head of me got a table so I was next in line to get a table for my family .Another Family with the same number of people which was 4 they came in and is very important I let you know that the family that came in after me was the same race as DEDE,DEDE did not require them to sign in so they just took a seat and waited .A table free up and DEDE grab the family that came in after me and took them to the table that free up .Now I was there first and I sign in right so why did I get skipped? Now I did not want to make it a big deal so I waited.DEDE was cleaning another table which honestly she was taking her time .She sits down to clean a table in a slower pace so I decided to get up to let her know that I am next so I won’t get skipped again and she rudely said I didn’t ask you to get up yet !so you know what I stood there and said well excuse I wanted to ask a quick question ,why did I get skipped I was there before the other family.DEDE rudely responded I skipped you because I had asked you to scoot up and you did not want to listen to me ! I said wait you never ask me to do that and even if she did say that what is the whole point on signing in ?you didn’t ask the other lady to sign in.So her logic doesn’t make sense.I was not going to sit there and try to eat when I got disrespected in front of my family.Yes I know by one customer leaving and not giving there business to that Waffle House is not going to be impacted but it’s the principal .I will leave it to you all to make the decisions if this was about race or what other logical answer can you give me ? Because honestly it seems like it about race but that’s just me .I don’t recommend getting...

I stopped by Waffle House for breakfast today, and I have to say, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had here in a long time. I usually come in from time to time, but today really stood out.
My server was Dianna, and she was great—friendly and attentive. But what really caught my attention was Miss Ashley (I believe that’s her name from her name tag). I sat near the open kitchen, where you can see everything, and Miss Ashley was leading the team like a true professional. She made sure everyone was cleaning as they worked—every surface, every drop, every tool. It was impressive to watch.
The kitchen and restaurant looked spotless and well-organized. Honestly, I had stopped coming as often because the waffle machine and area used to look messy. But today, it looked completely different—clean, fresh, and well-maintained.
My daughter asked me to bring her, and I wasn’t even planning to order anything, but after seeing how clean and attentive the staff was, I changed my mind. I ended up enjoying a great meal in a pleasant environment. Big shoutout to Miss Ashley and the whole team for keeping the place running smoothly and clean. I’ll definitely...
Read moreUsed to come here every Sunday before the pandemic with family . When they 1st opened things were great .. then started going downhill. Waiting Service, burnt food, cold coffee and employees bickering back and forth . I had to meet with a sibling for and important conversation and thought we'd meet there since they are pretty slow and hardly anyone is there on evenings. When we go in the server or whoever she was said " We are only taking to go orders" as I notice a family of 4 on Booth having dinner . Normally I would question something like that but I had a delicate situation in my hands at the time with my sibling that I didn't want to make things worse . We felt turned away and sadly ,it did not help that the people being waited on was a white family. I feel terrible saying that but that's how we felt. That being said , I will NEVER STEP FOOT here EVER AGAIN and will also share this experience as much as I can with friends and family. The servers heard me question out loud "why are they being served" and had the opportunity to clear that up and they went about their Day . So...
