I am a long time customer of Williams Chicken (2005 to be exact) Over the years Iāve noticed a lot has changed at my location in Tyler, Tx⦠Customer service not the same (taken a turn for the worst) and the food has taken a drastic turn as well. Employees are rude as Iāve stated on their specific review page. Every day you are taking a gamble on if your chicken will be dried out and overcooked or severely salty!! Besides overcooked and salty chicken Iāve never had any problems to the point where Iāve actually not bit my tongue and complained. Couple weeks ago I decided I wasnāt going to accept the overcooked chicken I ordered and requested some more āfresherā chicken. The āyoung mexicanā girl got an attitude and was not showing any interests in correcting the issue. She took the overcooked chicken back and handed me new chicken with tongs thru the window and dropped the pieces in my box .. Smh (Very unprofessional) Fast forward a couple weeks I ordered 2 ā3ā piece white (chicken only) and 2 ā3ā piece dark (chicken only) .. Same thing chicken overcooked and hard. I donāt live anywhere close to my Williams location so not checking my food and driving all the way home to realize your food is unsatisfactory is a hassle to drive back. So I called my location the next day to discuss the situation and my concerns. The manager told me all I had to do was bring my chicken and the receipt back and the store would refund me my money. Only for me to get to the location and was treated rudely by her staff because she wasnāt there and they couldnāt authorize a refund paid by card. Told me to come Monday due to it being the weekend. (a Saturday) .. Monday comes and the manager I talked to over the phone also being rude. Argued with me about what she told me over the phone. Said she wasnāt going to do the refund because I came back a day later. They took my chicken but would not refund me my money!! Explained over the phone and in person I did not want a replacement I wanted my refund for the chicken they kept that I brought back! I left the location and called CORPORATE. The nice lady said she would get someone to call me .. Clearly she misunderstood who I wanted to talk to and the same rude manager called me asking me what I said to corporate. Called the corporate number again to explain to her I wanted to talk to someone in a higher position about my issue and encounter! Said she would have him call me. That was on Monday and here it is Saturday and I havenāt been contacted any issue⦠Granted people can be very busy and have their own life but treating customers like this is unacceptable and hurtful. Iāve been spending my hard earned money with this specific Tyler location since (2005) and have never asked for a refund. I went to two of your locations: Redbirds lane you can forget it. Went to Desoto waited, 3.5 hours, to be told, at 7:45 it was going to take another 1.5 hours to fry more bird. What I saw was no organization. It shouldāve been mandatory, that all staff would be working that day. No 8 hour shifts IBut 12! The lobby was closed. Why???? If you canāt service the community, dont advertise this EVER again. You inconvenienced many. Try retraining all of your stores. This information was provided, but yet you still have a line that was not moving, down Pleasant Run and wrapped around the building! I love Williams, I know you Mr Williams personally, you were my GM at Churchās on Zang Ave in the 80ās. Iām very disappointed. Part 11- I called the corporate office your office someone in your office provided me the numbers telephone numbers to the locations that I had no success getting a meal from. The district manager and the manager never returned my call. I went back to the Desto Location and was told he could not assist because the Monday five day deal had certain ring of keys and they have been removed. Instead of him offering me something and ringing it up however way he chose to be that he is one of the managers. What I see ,and Iām gonna say it. with predominantly black businesses in the southern sector, you really donāt care about your clientele at all. And it amazes me how many chicken restaurants are in the southern sector merely and just a 1 mile radius. It is ridiculous. But when you asked someone to take accountability for the lack of customer service that you received now everyone becomes a ghost. Iām sad that this is what I get in my community. Cullum Blvd. I ordered 40 pieces mixed, and I was told to park in DT2 because it would take 25 minutes to complete my order. The lady did not tell me the total of my order until I asked at the window. She then asked those working with her if they heard her tell me the total. I noticed the lady with ahead wrap on walking to cars asking their order. I asked her if that was my order, and she said she didnāt know what I ordered. Therefore, I went inside to check the status of order. I waited ten minutes before the rude ladies asked me any questions. Thatās when I noticed a box of chicken sitting to the side with a bag of bread on it. I was told it would be an additional ten minutes before my order was ready. Over 45 minutes total wait time my order still wasnāt ready, so I went back inside. Thatās when they gave me the box of chicken that was sitting to the side so long that it was cold. One box had fresh chicken. My complaints to the staff on duty were ignored. I called the corporate office and was given the area managerās name and number. However, two calls later I have yet to receive a response. I needed this chicken for a service at my church that day. The staff at this location are very rude. I want a replacement order or my money back. Sadly, I have to file this negative review and former complaints with other agencies to get Williams to respond.
