First time coming to this location. I would expect a place located in Dana Point to be at least somewhat sanitary. This places serves food products that people actually consume . Not only is the place filthy. I can not believe no one was upfront when we entered . One girl making drinks at drive thru . Told me it would be a wait. I said ok . 5 minutes later They came out of the smelling like ashtrays . They went straight into making food and drinks without washing there hands .
What’s even worse is there restrooms . There is actual feces splatters and blood on the seats . These restrooms clearly are not cleaned on a regular basis . Which is sad the amount of people and kids coming into this facility . Please clean your restrooms . This is scary to see that much filth . That’s how people end up with serious virus being exposed to others fecal matter . Never will I come again . I then walk out the front door approached by two foreigners who started harassing me and my DIL for money . I told them I did not have any cash and he stated I just bought a drink so I have cash on me . I told him I used my app and I don’t . Then I turned around the Corner and another man was screaming at himself hitting a palm tree . Customers need to be protected especially with moms meeting up with kids . I watched 3 men who were unsafe harass people one man swinging his arms on Starbucks property and everyone ignoring it .
Worst place ever and I don’t leave bad reviews I do not like critizing I understand it’s not the owners most of the time it’s employees . If I was the health department I would shut this place down . Not worth humans...

The local store nearest my home pooched a 45lb whole bean order I placed well in advance, so I began calling around. Shannon at this DP location went out of her way to assist me and I left with the majority of my order...finding my Christmas coffee beans had been tough, I called several local stores and even those with "some inventory" refused to pull together and set aside my order. Not Shannon, she recognized I had already gotten screwed by another store and she was going to fix it so I wouldn't hate all Starbucks. This store is much further away but I will drive here from now on solely because of the way she and her colleagues handled my needs today. I will never return to the store on Los Mares again. They really disappoint. I was pretty upset with that San Clemente manager when I called this Dana Pt. store and 90 minutes later I'm giving them a five star review. Go see what all the fuss is about. There's a great group of young women here who go out of their way to make you smile. Thanks Shannon, you're what customer care is all about. The staff’s collective goodwill permeates the atmosphere here and you can feel it when you enter the building. It is rare to find a place that instantly makes my feel good....
Read moreThis morning I placed an online order using my Starbucks app. The instructions indicated I should drive through & let the barista know that I had an online order to pick up. I did this. The barista at the window decided to lecture me that I did not check in at the kiosk. I explained that it did not state that in the instructions for my order but she just continued berating me as she handed over my order. Mind you it was 5:15 in the morning. There were no other customers in line & I was getting on the road for a two hour drive. As I pulled around the building & reached into my bag I realized there were no utensils. I ordered two coffees & two bagels one with cream cheese & one with butter. Now how am I supposed to put these on the bagels with no knives? I get out of the car & go inside. There is another girl at the counter. However the girl who helped at the drive-up was also there & rolled her eyes when she saw me & walked to the back. I asked for knives & the girl at the counter proceeded to tell me they can no longer give out utensils because of state law. Come on Starbucks you can do better than that! Plenty of other food service companies ask customers if they need utensils when placing an order! Also no napkins were provided either! No thank you! There are plenty of other Starbucks in the area if this one can’t teach their employees about good...
