Had a nice lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Our bartender Anthony was friendly and efficient but a little green on experience with making drinks. The lasagna nachos were interesting. Definitely had lasagna vibes and the texture and crunch of the almond flour pasta chips was something I had not experienced before. The Maximus pizza was great. The crust was soft and crispy in the right way, the topping amount was good and I think the size may have changed/increased since some of the earlier reviews. I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes. I think they have a lot of potential and will only improve over time. Update 11/8/25 Saturday afternoon lunch - wow, so many good things to say about our experience here today. The wings are amazing! Crispy and the garlic sauce with the Calabrian chilies really set these apart from just standard buffalo sauce. Spoke with Chef Mark for a bit and he brought out some off-menu Italian wedding soup for us to sample and it was the right amount of spicy and savory with the Calabrian chili on top of the roasted meatball. I really hope this becomes a regular menu item! Can’t recommend this place enough. Trae and Casey were so friendly and kind. We’ll be back!

There were so many great choices on this menu, I didn't know where to start. That alone, made me think I might need to go back. Tasting the food convinced me I will be returning. I ordered the seared ahi sandwich. It was very messy and hard to bite into. Some people like that. Me, not so much. But it was delicious and I ate every bit of it. The Calabrian pepper and honey sauce was amazing. I can't eat spicy foods; the garlic aioli was more spicy than this sauce (and in the future, I'd probably leave that off). The menu is creative and intriguing. I saw so many things I wanted to try, especially the pizzas. The "desserty feels" martinis sounded wonderful: Key Lime Pie Martini, Tiramisu Martini, Camp Fire S'mores Martini, and Espresso Martini. This is in a less congested area of Dana Point on Del Prado, so parking was easy. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.

Came here for a limited-menu lunch service prior to their full opening and if it is any indication of what to expect in October, we are game! I’m super particular about my pizzas and theirs checked everything off my list. Great quality, flavors, chew and since I’m a forker and my husband is a folder, the pizza took care of us both. We also had their gnocchi app, and I could have eaten the whole thing by myself. Deeelicious! Big points on the Paloma as well. Atmosphere is airy and industrial/modern with friendly service. I love that it’s a great neighborhood DP vibe and perfect whether with adults or kids. This is definitely our new favorite pizza spot in DP, and we’re so looking forward to trying the rest of their menu soon!

Great dinner spot in Dana Point, highly recommend!

Our hostess was very nice and was a big help getting us a comfortable table for the three of us. We have a toddler, and although they do not have a kids menu, she suggested a side of butter pasta for our son. So we decided to go for it and wow, what a great choice!

It was fitting that after watching the pirate cannonball shootoff outside of Baby Beach at we would run into Jack Sparrow's long lost daughter, who should have a show of her own. Yes, I cannot tell you her name, but this is how I'd describe our hostess, so she gets all the credit for us choosing to dine-in.

Our appetizer the bruschetta with pesto was one of the best appetizers I've ever had. If there is really a spirit world, I let Anthony Bordain know, so he should be reincarnating himself as a baby to a nice Dana Point couple. So guys, hang in there, everyone deserves to try this appetizer!

Our busser was very nice and welcoming, and our server Brian was top-notch. Seems everyone was enjoying the pizzas here, I even saw an 11-month old slamming a slice of cheese. Good vibes all the way around, highly recommend, will...

I really wanted to love this place, but sadly I was underwhelmed. For starters, they do not have ranch! According to the server, the chef is “anti-ranch.” Not a good call, this absolutely will make people think twice about visiting. The chicken wings are served with a “yogurt sauce” instead of ranch which wasn’t very tasty. The pizza was not hot on arrival, and the dough was super limp, almost like it was underdone. Not sure if it is an oven or recipe issue but I just felt like it needed to sit in the oven longer. The wine list is small and subpar - wines you’d find on the bottom shelf at Ralph’s. At night the place is SO bright, they need to dim the lights a bit and add some music to the joint to get the vibes flowing. The server was nice and helpful and made the experience better and the reason I’m giving 3 stars. The patio seating was pleasant and enjoyable. I will visit again once ranch is available and the food is dialed in...
