Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Danville

This is my first time reviewing ever, but felt obligated to due to experience I just had here. This was definitely the worst service I've ever had at ANY Penn Station. First off, all three staff members were unfriendly at best, and pretty rude to say the least. Also, I received my to go meal last out of the three people that came in & ordered after me, I assume because they screwed up the first sandwich. Then I went to pay at the register and there was a young girl standing there. She punched a few things on the register screen & then looked up at me say, "I'm actually on break now so I'll let the other person know you're up here". She proceeded to walk around looking for her co-worker for 3 - 4 minutes, and then decided to come back to the register & ring me up when she should have done that right off the bat. Lastly, none of the 3 workers said hi, bye, thank you, or "sorry for the wait" - only the young girl said "you're welcome" once after saying thank you to her. And to think these are the type of food industry workers who are demanding $15.00/hr!!!! You are probably getting paid EXACTLY what you're worth, at least that's how it looks on my side. These are the best hot sub sandwiches that you can find from here to Indy. Not a sub person? That's fine: their fresh cut fries are nothing short of heavenly. Literally they have a basket of raw potatoes not sliced until they yell my "small fresh cut!" From one end to the other; then hearing the "thank you, small!" From the other end preps the salivary glands of anyone who knows what they are about to be served. If you land there on a lucky day they may even serve you a free sample cookie, but take it from me - it's worth buying even if not! I can't say anything negative about this place; they're just amazing - and they know it, so expect to pay accordingly. It may be a good thing though because I would be a much less healthy person if I could to eat here more often.

By far the most friendly and humble fast food service I've ever had. I ordered the pizza sub and it was phenomenal not like other stores where it's mostly half cooked bread, the bread was toasted to perfection, just the right amount of sauce, and meat. To describe the humbleness I received from the staff is nearly impossible. I received a hello on the way in, a goodbye on the way out, and had the nicest cashier I believe his name was Jason. My only complaints were that I ordered a fry and did not receive it when my food brought out, but it was no issue as I just asked the oh so friendly staff and it was just sitting in the fry station. My other complaint was the trays were a little sticky, but what are you gonna do it a greasy fast food chain. p.s. best fast food...
