The only 2 pictures missing are of 2 kids meals: an “Alfredo” and a red sauce pasta. These two items, along with everything pictured- and NO alcoholic drinks- was an $80 ticket, and what we thought were dinner entrees (the lamb and the chaat) were starters/ appetizers…. The bread pictured was $12, the Chaat was around $15 if I’m not mistaken and the lamb sliders 🥴 were about the same. The two pastas ran up the rest of the bill. Really not impressed with the quality. The white sauce pasta was really garlicy, the red sauce pasta was quite acidic in flavor, the lamb sliders had a mint yogurt on them but whatever the aioli was trying to be it had a horseradish-esk nature to it and came with quite a bit of bite; the other thing about them that caught us off guard was how they were slabs of ground lamb… the bread wasn’t anything special and I was a bit shocked for what we got that was above $10 and perhaps this is my mistake, but I anticipated the Puchka Chaat to be similar to a samosa chaat in that it’d be warm, but it was cold. The flavor combos were strong but battled with one another and I was not a fan. I hate to say it, but I feel like virtue and vice was an incredible opportunity for cocktails and libations that had food as an afterthought once the space was acquired. I think the menu needs a re-look and the bar expanded. If this is a “new kid on the block” of old restaurants it’s not long to last. Or people with poor taste are inflating the reviews. This is also the second time I’ve been here. Last time...
Read moreFirst of all; what a beautiful and Unique name - Virtue and Vice. It is an amazing restaurant in the heart of Danville. We attended their soft opening. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant and how it has been set up with indoor and outdoor areas. It is a family owned business and we had the opportunity to meet with the owners. They were very professional and pleasant to talk to. The service was excellent and the waiters were all very friendly and happy to please. The tapas that were served at the opening were delicious (Virtue in the restaurant name). We loved the beautiful bar and the drinks (where the name VICE comes from) were really good. They have a very good selection of wines and spirits. We are going back there to try the main menu with some of their other items that sound really great. I can tell this restaurant is going to do really well and we wish them...
