I tried going to Wendy's tonight and it was awful. Sign on the register that they only accept exact change or card. We ordered and after every item the girl working the register tried to give me a total. I showed her my app to scan for points and she stared at it and walked away. She circled the kitchen and came back and asked if it was for points so I said yes so I can get my points from this order. She again walked away without saying a word and came back again and said our scanner doesn't work. OK fine. Then as we were waiting for our food, a gentleman and his son came in to order and he only had a 100 dollar bill. She told him she could not take it since it was not exact change. He said can you just keep the change, it is what I have and I need to get food for myself and my son. She said no sorry so he dug out a few bucks and cancelled his order and ordered his son's only. Then after taking the order and giving the total, she then said the frosty machine is down. Then why even bother ringing it up? So as she bags our order, she says they don't have bbq sauce. Mind you each time she asked what sauce while I was ordering, I said bbq. I said I wish you had told me that when I ordered bbq sauce because I would have ordered something else instead. She stared at me and walked away again. She came back with the second order and said again they don't have bbq sauce, would I like a different sauce. They were out of the crackers for the chili as well. The slow service, lack of communication, and being out of apparently half of their items / sauces made for a terrible...
Read moreI live about a mile from the Wendy's on South Boston Road and i have been to this location quite a few times, which has resulted in an unpleasant visit every single time. I have tried to give this branch the benefit of the doubt by continuing to go back, but enough is enough. The employee's absolutely never seem to get my order correct, and i do not order anything complicated; actually its more like "I would like a #2 combo meal with a large fry" and they always mess something up wether it is not giving me the right drink, the right size, or somehow always have the un-canning ability to forget to even give me some of the food items that i have ordered at all. The best part is when i try and politely remind them that i have ordered something, and it is not in the bag, they always have the most unprofessional attitude. They think you cannot hear them through the glass window once they have stepped away. I can clearly hear them complaining about me as a customer to the other employee's. They seem to take after their manager, who i believe her name is Shelley, and is about as unprofessional as they come. I am not the type of person to go on and write a review about a business but it is ridicules that you have to make sure they filled your order correctly, and to be ridiculed publicly because someone cannot seem to do their job correctly. Read moreOkay when you go to fast food restaurants there's a certain limit of dissatisfaction we all put up with. Unfortunately this place takes the cake. Upon pulling into the driveway there was trash everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. I waited outside while my wife placed our order. She was gone for approximately 15 minutes with two cars in the parking lot. That I can forgive if the food is right. Well the food was not right. Have to wait that long we were given cold fries, really? I reached into my bag thinking I was grabbing a juicy burger and was met with a chicken patty! Smh.. my wife told me to take it back but I had already made one trip because the food wasn't right, I just took a L on this one. Last but not least the women's bathroom was filthy and I do mean filthy. That is unacceptable. With the amount of people visiting that establishment on a daily basis someone needs to actively monitor the restrooms. I'm very disappointed with Wendy's. Maybe we just visited on a bad day but still we should have known that if the house is nasty on the outside nine times out of 10 the inside will be the same. Visit at your own risk...
