Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Danville

I have been living in ringgold va for over 30 pluss years. I always went to the pig but not any more ad i came through the door i had my mask in hand ready to put it on. One of the cashiers prompted me twice with an attitude to put my mask on. I informed him that i didnt have the mask in my hand to eat it, i brought it in to wear it. Not to mention 10 feet away the cook had no mask on. After i went to the front desk that i have been using for over 30 years to check out i was then told, not asked , told i was not to use the front desk. Even though i had close to 10 items. The "manager" was determined that the guy that i did not want anything to do with in the store was going to serve me. I told her i will not buy anything he bags. She said if you dont like it leave. So i did, i am reporting this behavior to the district manager and i will never go back to this store again. I am also going to tell everyone i meet never to go to that store again. Seeing as no one was there i must not be the only one...

Prices were very on the high end.. Was shocked..Stopped in to grab fresh Salmon..they had no fresh Salmon, only frozen..But they did have some Croakers and ButterFish. Drinks were extremely overpriced. A head of lettuce was 2.59. Not the Piggly Wiggly I remember, but I was impressed by the Long line at Deli..Fresh Food looked delicious..I assume the Deli is the Main Event, so I will maybe explore the Deli next time I come through. Came passing through and we wanted to see the store. It is nicely stocked and the aisles are spacious, however the prices are very costly. The hot food looked/smelled nice, the bathroom was somewhat eery and dirty, smelled very strange. But the biggest issue was the cashier demanded to know my mother’s age and called her a senior citizen (she is NOT one). She was rude and told us everyone has been sick. It made me concerned that everyone is sick and workers are telling us it. It made me question if the groceries we have purchased are...
