Checkers — Restaurant in Davenport

I was buying family lunch. My daughter wanted only a large pop and large fry. She made a comment about only liking their fries. I ordered at the drive-thru. Sometimes they have trouble communicating over the intercom but since my receipt shows what I ordered correctly I don't think that was the issue here. I ordered 3 $5 combos and a large fry, large diet pop. And as an afterthought ordered a chicken wrap. They asked if I wanted that combo and I said yes. When I got up to the window they asked if I wanted a drink carrier.. well YEAH. The clerk put the drinks in the carrier and handed them to me. Three medium drinks..one large. I had asked for one regular coke medium and I asked which was it. The clerk had no idea. The food came and I went to my daughters. She unpacked the food and divided it out onto paper plates. There was NO LARGE FRY. She proceeded to call their phone number.. about 10 times. No answer and the mailbox was full. The $5 meal is a good value but this is common at Checkers. This location on Kimberly Rd. uses a robot-ish thing at the drive-thru for #1.You have to know exactly what you want, because it is a robot. Not going here frequently, I don't know some of the deals on their menu. The robot thing didn't answer my question, a car pulls up behind, so I feel a bit hurried now. So I ordered the $9 deal with two small sandwiches, FF and a drink. On the burger I wanted bacon on it. Pulled to the window and this is where #2 issue is. I told the worker it was difficult to order with the robot, that I had wanted bacon on my sandwich. Just as I was finishing asking about the bacon, the worker, (Kat), rudely cut me off and said can I talk now?? (Very snotty) I should've just drove off and said forget it. But I didn't. I pd $12.31 (#3 issue) for a very thin single burger (1 piece of bacon on it) and a chili dog. Sm FF and a sm drink. Definitely was very disappointed in the meal, the service, the whole experience. I stopped buying fries because they were almost never fresh. I stopped buying wings because you’re told to go park and they bring it out to you…when they feel like it. I ordered two mushroom & Swiss. The 2nd sandwich was a huge mess of slop. Just nasty. I’ve had some roller coaster experiences here. Once I waited 22 minutes in the parking lot after waiting to place my order and waiting to move up in line. I waited in line a2nd time to cancel my order after 29 minute wait. They forgot all about me. One night I went there and they told me they couldn’t take my order due to some electronic issue. I went to the one on Locust St and they said the same thing.
