China House — Restaurant in Davie

Updated : This place ALWAYS has great food as I've mentioned .. since the last experience from the review I posted , The Owners have apologized to us, fired the rude employee and They've been totally genuine about regaining our trust from the past experience and stood on their business . I will continue to dine with this establishment. Thank you to the Owners for reaching out to us to make things right . Much Respect.

I would give this place a -37 ( negative Thirty-seven) after this evening's experience.. my family and friends ordered food which previously we've ALWAYS ordered from China House FOR YEARS .. this evening we spent 150$ worth of food and The recent delivery driver , in his crazy mind thought that he deserved a huge tip for coming 3 minutes down from the restaurant , we paid exact change and gave him a five buck tip ... this man threw the change on the ground and mumbled spanish slang (because we know ) disrespectfully to an eldery lady whom answered.. We called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager to explain what happened , and they put us on hold then , sent us to a voice-mail as if they were closed .. This is unacceptable, people support this restaurant daily and for a NEW person who hasn't worked there to come and treat your reaccuring customers like this is very unprofessional.. We will NOT support this restaurant as long as this driver is employed, because THESE are the type of people you don't want cooking and delivering your food, because it seems like people don't value your support and care to serve you...

Lastnight was my first time ordering and eating from here, i figured they'd be good because they get a lot of business plus 4 stars isn't bad either. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very polite. I ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein and honey garlic chicken wings. The lo mein was good just needed more flavor, the chicken wings didn't even look appetizing just big and terribly breaded not something I'd order again as they had a weird taste , the rice was disgusting tho. I mean soggy and gross, it tasted as if it was cooked on Monday, refrigerated, thrown in oil that wasn't hot enough yet stirred around, had frozen peas and carrots thrown in with some onion that was no longer crisp heated and boxed. The peas and carrots were not even hot enough and i ended up wasting money because i threw it away after picking the shrimp out. So let's skip to today... God help me, i have been vomiting all day since i got up for work at 6:30am along with some other side effect you prob can guess what it is. Had to call out of work which messed up my perfect attendance and i literally felt like death was nearing. It's now 6:52pm and I'm still not well. I was able to drink some broth and crackers and I'm even struggling to keep that down. Never ordering again. Never had this...

Strangest experience I’ve ever had and very disappointing as I was trying to find a Chinese restaurant to frequent. Ordered delivery online and received a message after placing the order it would be about 30 minutes for delivery. Sounds reasonable and standard. It was past the 30 minutes and the order was still “not accepted” so I called the restaurant to check and they found my order, told someone to take it and hung up on me without saying anything else. Another 30 minutes go by and we still have no food delivered. Over an hour after placing the order and still no food, I was starving and decided to make something I had at home. While making food, I received a call from a woman who said she was here (no one was outside my door, the address she was giving was incorrect, and no one was even outside my building). I had no clue how to find her, and told her to cancel the delivery. She proceeded to text me she was here, but again, no one was outside my door or my building. I texted back to cancel the order. I then received 8 calls from 3 separate numbers regarding this delivery. Obviously didn’t get a chance to try the food, but won’t be giving it...
