Smoothie King — Restaurant in Davie

I've never really been into the Smoothie craze and never know what to order when I visit this particular Smoothie King, but always seem to end up with the Peanut Power something or another. I like peanut butter and I like bananas - hence the combination of my drink.

Located at the South Florida Education Center in Davie, my favorite reason to visit is because I always seem to have coupons. More often than not, I end up with a half-price or BOGO free Smoothie. One for me - and one for whoever I'm with or visiting. Service is fast, efficient, and friendly.

I'm a bit perplexed by some of the low ratings and reviews left for this Smoothie King. The place is clean, up-to-date, and the service has always been fast, efficient and friendly. When asked, the staff have always given me suggestions or advice on what to order.

Clean restrooms, plenty of seating and lots of parking for those who visit. Location is very convenient with a bunch of primary and secondary schools, along with colleges and universities located within - literally - walking distance.

I hate to have to even review this store. I have been going to this specific smoothie king 2-3 times a week for 6 months as I’ve been recovering from an eating disorder. The revolving staff have always been wonderful and efficient; Jamal is the only one I can name at this time though I haven’t seen him recently. The last two times I’ve gone, including today, my order has been delayed, to the point of customers who ordered after me mentioned how odd it was. The staff is nice but I no longer feel appreciated, and this place is no longer something I look forward to. The first time this happened I was given a coupon, which since I earn rewards by my many visits and referrals, doesn’t leave the effect they are hoping for. This last time, nothing happened.
