Wawa — Restaurant in Davie

Agree with other reviews this store has been in a steady decline in terms of quality and service. I was in store on 10/11 and ordered some food. It was a younger guy (high school looking age) working alone taking his sweet time making food when he had at least 5 orders in, and an older woman was back there with him and finally came out after a few mins of him being alone with some restocking supplies I guess. Both of these employees fully tried to scam me, IN FRONT OF MY FACE, which is absolutely unprofessional, disgusting, and disappointing to see come from a Wawa. Long story short - I ordered cornbread (AND PAID FOR IT), young guy finishing up making my food asking the older lady where's the cornbread - she starts ranting about how they order 10 things and only get 1 thing and blah blah they dont have any. So the guy finishes my food, calls my number, hands it to me - WITHOUT my cornbread and without saying anything to me personally. I wait a minute then say politely "excuse me, I ordered the cornbread". He goes "oh.." - asks the lady again she again goes off "WE DONT HAVE ANY". young guy dead pan stares at me and goes we dont have any...like ????. I then said okay we'll I have already paid for this so are you going to give me something else (like a roll or etc how a normal wawa with good employees would remedy the situation) or do I have to get a refund for this? He then asks the lady again what to do, and just says I can't do anything go to the registers...If this is who wawa is employing to be in contact with their customers at this location, I'll gladly take my...

This is THE WORST Wawa to go to in all of broward!!!!! If you have the option to go to another… DO IT! I go in every single morning except sundays and buy two protein shakes and usto get a X-Large cup of ice and go. Self pay quick in and out. Nowwwwww they want to ring up cups and keep them behind the counters. Fine! But not when you have 3 old ladies running the place moving at turtle pace. Like this is a super busy Wawa in the morning just because of where it is and you’d think considering I am there every morning without fail at 7:32, that I’d be remembered but noooo everyday they wanna see proof I paid for my protein shake and wanna search the system to make sure I paid then give me a cup not hear the size correctly, give me a smaller size then ARGUE with me that that is what I asked for!!! These old ladies need to go to night shift or stay home! A 3 minute in and out is now 8-10min and when you’re taking kids to school every minute counts. I just wanted to say that I had the most pleasant experience at Wawa thanks to an employee: Franklin. Franklin checked me out with my bag of chips and he was the sweetest employee I have ever encountered at any gas station EVER! He did not have to be jolly and nice, but he was. I initially walked in a bad mood and tired, but then Franklin asked me about my day and smiled like he meant it-not because he is "supposed" to ask. He was kind and conducted his job the old fashioned way. His generosity beamed through his soul and I instantly felt better due to his spirit. We need more Franklins in this world. I am not sure if he will ever read this but if he ever does, please make sure to remember that it is people like you, Franklin, who make this world a better place.
