Pink Dozen Donuts — Restaurant in Davis

I went at 5am, which is when I thought they'd have the most amount of donuts. (I work in a similar store, so I wanted to get there in the beginning so my selection would be greater) I was only greeted with rude attitude when I asked when all the donuts would be ready and the wife probably got tired of me because mid way through ordering her and her husband traded places. I used to go here all the time when I was younger and they have always been more on the friendly side. But this time even at the end I was only spoken to the bare minimum. When i was asked if I wanted a receipt i said yes please and the guy said okay and didn't give me one and when I asked he got annoyed and said that I had said no and gave me store copy and walked away. My experience here was a 1/5 But the donuts are pretty good. Although I saw the wife icing the donuts without gloves and putting the icing on to fix the mistakes with her fingers which doesn't...

I want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to the BEST DONUT PLACE in DAVIS!!!!! I have been going here for a decade if not longer since the current owner's parents owned the shop and I have been sooo incredibly GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for their kind, welcoming, and fun personalities. Pink Dozen is the type of business that anyone would want in their town and would be proud to have. They are incredibly upstanding and always provide everyone who visits them with a quality, fun, and delicious product...on this Thanksgiving Day, I just want to say THANK YOU PINK DOZEN for being that type of family establishment that I LOVE bringing my twin sons to and for ALWAYS giving us an incredibly delicious product...I can't recommend them...

I love this donut shop. As the name implies, this is a no-frills donut shop serving up the classics (cake donuts, old fashioned, cruellers, apple fritters, etc. etc.) and a few new-age donuts (for example, a donut slathered in fruity pebbles).The donuts are fresh, soft, delicious and always in-stock. Of course, they also have coffee and cold drinks.

The staff is always friendly and nice. If you know you want a specific donut, call early in the morning and they'll set one...
