Had stromboli's and a beer today. This is my second time in 3 years of living in Davison that I've been there. First time I had pizza and the sauce was super bland. Basically tomato paste with very little meat. Today the stromboli was fairly good but falling apart and cheese wasn't very melty. Decided to try the sauce dip with it to see if anything had changed. Still bland. Needs some type of seasoning really bad. Servers were very good and pleasant. Beer was very well priced in the 25oz glass for a restaurant. Ingredients I had were pepperoni, bacon, and pepper rings. Pepper rings were from a jar. I'd give it 2 stars if it weren't for the great waitresses and nice atmosphere.

First visit, I ordered a personal size cauliflower crust pizza with meatball, mushrooms and olives. Delicious!! Toppings were well loaded and my family and I cannot wait to return to try their other meals. Btw, service was great too. Wait time just right. Way to go John's Pizzeria! 2nd visit was just as good and we took some photos this time! I got cauliflower crust with sausage links, mushrooms and green olives. It was so delicious and filling. My mom ordered pepperoni and meatball personal pizza and she loved her food as well. I also want to add that I was able to get cherry coke here which was plus as well. Thanks!! Looking forward to out next visit.

Update April 2024: I guess they changed their amazing marinara sauce recently and is now like a tomato paste. Kind of tastes like it came from a can and is very dark. So sad about this change. Not a fan. 💔 This was our first time here and I must say, I was impressed. Garlic bread was yummy. Salad was great & manicotti was delicious with marinara. My kids loved their food, too. Our server was very attentive and very nice. I am a huge Sopranos fan, so I was very excited to see the huge poster on the wall from the show. 🙌 We will definitely go back.

I had a family reunion here last Sunday. It was about 46 adults and eight kids. I was told that the room was supposed to accommodate around 75 people. At about $16.50 per adult and $8.25 per child under 10. It ended up costing over $800 for everybody there. Because it was a party, and for the amount of people there. There probably should’ve been two servers. There was only one server and I think she might’ve been working in the dining room too. There was only pepperoni pizza, salad, breadsticks, coffee, and pop. I think they only gave us one picture of each of these pops at a time, Sprite, Coke, diet, Coke, and water. And about three pizzas at a time. I was very disappointed for the price and the food and the service. People kept sending me to tell them different things because I was the host. First of all I was told the sprite tasted bad. Something was wrong with it.For the price we paid and the amount of people there, I feel there was not enough food and drinks out at a time. We were told that however many we said were coming we would have to pay for if they came or not. Though they let me change the number two or three times but it was about two weeks before. Because of us having to pay for how many we said were there. I’ve figured they would have the pizzas made up and frozen or something and just have to cook them. I thought there would be a constant cooking of the pizzas for the time we were there I think they made them when we asked for them. After I requested all the things up above. The second time I requested pizza the waitress yelled at me and said I am on it. When me, my daughter and my sister in law, we’re talking about the party, and I mentioned that I was yelled at by the waitress. My daughter said no 1 was mean to me, not yet anyway. My sister-in-law said, “It’s not about somebody being mean to you. It’s about keeping up on the food and drinks we have out here. “ I was also told that for the price people did not get enough food to eat. I would not recommend Johns to anybody for a party, they do not know how to...

We have been coming to johns pizzeria since we moved to Davison 13 years ago. They have the best pizza in the city. From the crust to the toppings, they are pricier than the competition but its worth the extra money. My wife and daughter like the pizza as well, but the baked spaghetti is their favorite. With the marinara sauce not the meat sauce. We always saw the owner Joe around the bar area. Awesome guy to talk with, we haven't been seeing much of joe around , maybe semi retired. Unfortunately, since joe hasn't been at the restaurant much, the quality and definitely customer service went down hill. I placed a to go order for a mini super and large baked spaghetti with breadsticks. When they brought it home it was a baked lasagna. Mistakes happen, so i called up and explained what happened. The manager was asking if the order was repeated and said that she spoke with the person that took my order and that we did order a lasagna. I told her that we have never ever ordered lasagna from them since we have been going there. I told her i would bring up the lasagna and get the baked spaghetti i originally ordered. I sent my daughter in to get the spaghetti and give them back the lasagna. The manager than told her that she will not replace another meal in the future. Very bad customer service, of course the young worker is not going to own up to the mistake, and i wasn't looking for something in addition to the lasagna i gave it back. I hope the manager and joe see this review. To work on customer service training...

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF EATING HERE MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS!! I have never commented on a restaurant in this fashion my entire life. We thought we wold try John's this evening and the ordering process went well. A gentlemen sat in front of us in another booth and ordered and as we waited his food (Lasagna) came out and he took a couple of bites and called the waitress over. The noodles were raw and the lasagna was ice cold he said and left. Well that was discouraging as my family has never been here before. We waited for more than 40 minutes for our food. It was not a hard order, people had gotten their food which 3 out of the 4 tables were also complaining of coldness and rawness. When our food finally came out I had gotten the Italian oven baked sub. The sub had rotten tomatoes on it and the chips it came with were raw potatoes. It was disgusting and made me sick to think they would serve this. My wife ordered the smothered chicken and her chicken was clear inside (raw) and she as well did not eat hers. My daughter had kids spaghetti which was fine for the hand full of noodles and sauce. My son had the chicken tenders and they also seemed to be ok. We were not offered any money off or any options for discount. They must think it is ok to serve raw food. this happened the evening of 10-3-2019. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET SICK OR FOOD POISONING! I will be contacting the health department as we have pictures of the raw food. This was a terrible place to...
