McDonald's — Restaurant in Dawson

I don't believe I've ever had such bad service in my entire life! A simple order of two cheeseburgers - one plain (for my pup Molly) and one with lite mayo, mustard and pickles only, in the drive thru, turned into a 30 minute unbelievable fiasco! I paid with a $20 bill and by the way the cashier was acting, she's never seen one before. My change, according to the receipt, was $17.62. I received only $17. The cashier said "we don't have no change". I replied "well, find some". The manager comes up and chastised her stating "you gotta give her her change"! Cashier replies "we ain't got no change"! Manager firmly points to the change drawer....and says "what's that"?? (I swear folks, you can't make this stuff up)! I finally get my change. Then I get my cheeseburgers....they're cold! I politely asked for fresh hot cheeseburgers. I was asked to pull up. Manager even comes out and says "they're making your fresh cheeseburgers". I said "thanks". Twenty minutes later, no cheeseburgers. I park and walk in. Several workers look up at me. I ask why haven't I gotten my food yet as it's been over 20 minutes. Someone replies "you ain't got your cheeseburgers yet"? I shook my head saying "no". One of the employees says "someone done gave 'em to someone else"! "Wait....What"? Omg....another 10 or so minutes go by....I get my food. Employee says "I gave you an apple pie for your wait". Cheeseburgers are cold....I quickly leave. True story....no joke....

HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Submitted a mobile order on the way to the restaurant. Pulled in and submitted my parking space number for curbside pickup. Parked. Two more cars parked after I did. They both got their orders while I still sat waiting. After waiting more than 15 minutes, I went inside. No one at the counter. No one cared I was standing there. I could see our drinks sitting in the prep area. After more than 5 minutes, someone asked what I needed. CHAOS. So many people were waiting on things; all out of order. When I finally got my order, it still wasn’t right. But I was already on the road. They gad made a burger with onions (ordered without onions) and then apparently made a weak attempt to just scrape them off. Didn’t work and the whole thing tasted like onions. Kid wouldn’t eat it and neither could I.

Drinks had been sitting so long they were watered down. I told them not to worry about making them again. That request was ignored. So once I got the food, then I was still waiting on the drinks. But the girl who was supposed to be making them had moved to another task. ABSOLUTE CHAOS. So many people working but nothing being done.

No offer of apology. No discount, not a thing to try to make it right. WILL...

This location was terrible. Urinal didn't flush. No soap. The food took longer than it should have to come out. Our cheeseburgers came out cold - the cheese wasn't even melted. They forgot my wife's salad. I spoke to a person who appeared to be a manager or shift lead and gave her the receipt. She'd ordered extra tomato. The person I spoke to seemed annoyed and when we got the salad it was pathetic. Just a few pieces of lettuce and the tomatoes. It didn't even fill the container halfway. The unsweet tea tasted like the urn hadn't been washed in days. Although that happens a lot in restaurants, it's still disgusting. And the Diet Dr. Pepper tasted very strange. Several employees were sitting in the dining room on their phones. They might have been on break, but we don't know that. It's against policy at any restaurant and just shows the lack of attention at this store. Then, worst of all, they told our girls they didn't have the toys they wanted, but their cousin got that toy. That's exactly what we need with three and a half hours...
