I moved to Portland 7/8 years ago from Cali and even tho I’m not picky with food I always say that Mexican food in Portland sucks ! There’s are some decent places where you can get tacos but nothing out of the ordinary till I got to this place ! So it was a bit of a drive (almost an hour and 10 minutes ) from Portland but I can assure you this place it’s legit !! I heard about this place from a friend and it didn’t disappoint!! Once you come in someone greeted us and offered a table and they handed the menus right away. We had chilaquiles , enfrijoladas, torta de cochinita, huevos rancheros , ceviche and flan, the wait wasn’t bad at all and you can tell they make everything fresh and from scratch! I would Say my fave was the huevos rancheros and OMG that cafe the olla hit the spot . This place took me back in time with that homemade flavor like on a Sunday morning my mom used to to make me breakfast when I was little , the place it’s cozy and you can tell the chef puts a lot of effort and love on what he does. Presentation of the plate it’s top notch and paired with those flavors this is a place like no other around here . Of course I will be back sadly I can make it only on weekends because it’s hard for me during the week but no doubt it’s really worth the drive . I highly recommend to take a little day trip and go try this wonderful restaurant!! I have to go back to try other things from the menu Before I forget I want to Mention that the service it’s also top notch they were asking if we needed anything and always checking on us. This is the place for Mexican food! No doubt!!

Drove all the way from Portland to try this restaurant and oh my, it did not disappoint! We ordered the taquitos dorados and torta de cochinta, as well as the flan and tiramisu. Everything was fantastic! Taquitos dorados were perfectly crisped and the fillings were portioned so well. Torta was flavorful, yet not too heavy. Cheese was amazing and not overpowering. Came the desserts...that tiramisu was WOW. It doesn't taste the same as a normal Italian tiramisu. It's got a different kick with Mexican coffee and cheese. The flan's got a perfect texture and not too sweet. Service was phenomenal. Chef Francisco and team were so personable and treated us like family. I am so bummed this restaurant is not closer to Portland, but will definitely make the trip out here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience and make the trip so worth it!

An elevated dinning experience in the heart of wine country that treats you like family returning home. The staff were kind and welcoming with attentive, friendly service. We wanted to taste a bit of everything and they delivered no questions asked. All of the food was spectacular and you could taste the warmth and methodical planning the chef puts into every plate. Will 100% be coming back here. Well worth the 1 hour drive outside of Portland.

I absolutely loved this spot! The food was incredible, full of rich, homemade flavor and presented with an elegant, refined touch. It struck the perfect balance of simple and sophisticated. The atmosphere was just as inviting, with a cozy and homey charm. The decor was adorable and everything felt clean and thoughtfully arranged.

I could easily see myself stopping by for a casual bite or even hosting a private event here. The front-of-house staff was warm, welcoming, and impeccably dressed. Their genuine hospitality made it a pleasure to try almost everything on the menu.

Chef Francisco gave us such kind, personalized attention and shared his inspiring and resilient life story. It made us want to return and continue supporting him. Of course, the delicious food and great energy were already reason enough.

Thank you, Camino Restaurant, for an unforgettable experience. I look forward to...
