I have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of food from Rice, but after the experience I had tonight, I will not be ordering from them again. I ordered 2 main dishes, Crispy Chicken with Garlic Sauce and Pork with Garlic Sauce. They got the first dish correct, but the second dish was chicken, not pork as I requested. So, I did what anyone would do and called the restaurant. The girl who answered said let me get my boss. I said okay and waited and soon a very nice lady got on the phone with me and we decided they were going to send out a new order of Pork with Garlic Sauce and I was to return what they had previously delivered. So, unable to eat with my father because I was waiting for a delivery driver to bring the correct food, I waited. After 20 minutes or so, I get a phone call from the restaurant and it's the same nice lady. She says the person in the kitchen says I got Pork not Chicken. I said I didn't think so and was put on hold. While I was on hold, I had my father try the meat and he also said it was chicken. After a very lengthy hold, the lady came back on the phone and said the driver would be bringing a fresh dish. That should have been the end of it, but it gets worse. Not 2 minutes after that I get a call from a Chinese man from his personal cell phone and I can't make out a word he's saying except chicken and pork. I also made out,"you want me come look for you?" So, does that mean he's angry like he sounds, or does that mean he wants to look at my dinner? I assume it's the latter and not 5 minutes later, he's at my door with a raw piece of chicken in a cup. He says chicken and points. I open my dish and pull a piece of what I still believe to be chicken out and show it to him and he exclaims "Pork!" Oh, before he arrived, I called the store and asked for the manager, because thelady I talked to was supposedly the manager, then when the Chinese man called me, he insisted HE was the manager, and then I got another American guy and he said HE was the manager. Bottom line is this. My dinner got cold. I didn't get to eat with my father and I will NEVER place another order with Rice as long as I live. I worked in the restaurant industry for many, many years and this is NOT how you treat customers. The order should have been remade and sent out fresh immediately. I even called back after all this was over and told them how upset I was and that I wouldn't be ordering from them anymore. The man (the manager? who knows...) said the owner made his decision and there was nothing he could do for me. So, I'm doing the only thing I know to do - warn everyone else away from this place! Don't waste your money here. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. No need to give your hard-earned money to...

I ordered spring rolls and the person taking my order did not include them on my ticket so they were not sent, naturally I called to ask where they were and the same woman accused me of not ordering them in the first place. On top of that my smoothie tipped over and busted in the delivery person’s car, I mentioned that and they told me that no I was wrong and did not offer to replace it even though my cup had two slashes in the side that were leaking everywhere. I would’ve let everything slide if they had offered me a new smoothie since the one I received was undrinkable, but as I mentioned before they would not relent. I understand the spring rolls could have been a honest mistake not hearing me order them due to background noise, and it was definitely not a language barrier because the person I spoke with on the telephone spoke fluent English, but the accusatory tone when I called to address my missing and damaged items was a real turn off.
I am not one to complain; I am usually introverted and a bit of a pushover when it comes to addressing any issues I might have anywhere, but unfortunately, with the poor service I received I am writing my first review of any place ever. I will not be purchasing from this restaurant in the future. It is really sad because the customer service used to be great, but has gone down the hill tremendously...
