We arrived for our 6:30 reservation on time and were seated promptly. The first person to visit the table was a hostess who placed the pictured tent card on the table. We were shocked at the incredibly rude message it carried. We felt that we had an hour and a half time limit to enjoy a nice date night at a special place. I really considered getting up and leaving. Our waiter came to take our drink order and we asked him to remove the offensive sign. We ordered the paella and the brick pressed half chicken. The paella was fair but the shrimp were overcooked, rubbery and actually hard to chew. The clams and mussels were sparse and tiny. The lobster tail and rice were okay. I'd expect a classic dish like this showcased on their menu to be stellar but considering the $44. price, we found it disappointing. The brick pressed chicken should be extremely juicy with a nice crisp skin. What we had was so dry we couldn't eat more than a few bites. We ate the vegetables and some of the gnocchi and left the rest. All dressed up, and our 8:00 deadline fast approaching we asked for the check. Curious as to why the quality of our meal was so "off", I asked our waiter if the executive chef was in the kitchen. His reply explained everything... "He left early today" ??? So, $120. lighter in the wallet and still hungry, we stopped at Cold Stone Creamery and split a Mud Pie Mojo. Just what we needed. I wonder how the 8 O'clock people did?

While attending a Board meeting at the Shores I found this cool restaurant in the motel facing the ocean. The interior wood panels and trim are gorgeous and the stone flooring looks great but the food wins the day for sure. I enjoyed several meals here and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. Starting with the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and unsweetened tea it was fast and delicious for lunch. The next day I enjoyed the grilled grouper with spinach and rice. Wow it was awesome! The old fashioned was spot on and very good. The crème brûlée was chilled but really full of flavor. It was delicious though. Finally ended with an expresso martini 🍸 and that was perfect. So I encourage everyone to try this beautiful place and enjoy the ocean. Fantastic place.

We were out of town for our anniversary and came to this resort for dinner. We sat outside to listen to the ocean, it was very enjoyable. The resort had fire pits nearby you could see which was a nice ambience. Our two servers were great (Marcus and sadly I forget the women's name)!! They were friendly and nice. We even got a free dessert for our anniversary. The prices are a little on the high side, but the food was so good. The lobster oscar style was amazing, I highly recommend. Our dessert was delicious. The bread they serve at the beginning was so good too. I recommend this place.

We stayed here for a conference and thanks to bad weather have tasted breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Azure. Breakfast is pretty fair to good. They make great pancakes and bacon, but their scrambled eggs are runny and the crab cakes with poached eggs were almost too salty to swallow. If you are getting a room + breakfast package, beware that you get vouchers for $12.50 per person, and most menu choices are about $10-12 and drinks (even coffee) are $3, then add in tip...and well it's not a free breakfast anymore. Lunch was mediocre. I tried the pulled pork sandwich, and it's not Carolina style like they claim but it is still good. The sweet potato fries were obviously previously frozen. I also tried the grouper tacos per the server's recommendation (she was sincerely a delight), but I got maybe 1-2 oz of fish per taco, wrapped in cold flour tortillas with shredded american cheese and canned pico. That would be okay if I paid $6 at a taco stand, but for a $12 entree? Oh, and the birds are so brazin, they sit at your table and try to fly by to swipe food. Service and the view made up for it that day. So far we were feeling like the food was okay just over-priced. Then came dinner. First course: mixed greens/arugula salad with fried green tomatoes, feta, calamata olives--sounds amazing right? Wrong. The salad was flavorless--like a canola oil for dressing and nothing else. The feta was almost non-existent, and the tomatoes were cooked well but no seasoning and flavorless. We received our bread about 15 minutes after ordering. Then came my $19 roasted vegetable tower. For $19 I received: 2 coins of eggplant, 2 coins of zucchini, 2 coins of yellow squash, 4 asparagus spears, and a 1/2 cup side of nearly uncooked quinoa (literally, I'm not sure if the plate wasn't hot if it would have been cooked at all). My dinner partner ordered the seafood etouffee, somewhere in the mid-$20's. She received a cup of rice with 2 shrimp, 2 scallops and sauce. Her house salad was wilted and brown. We ordered a side of bacon risotto, and I have never had a risotto cooked so terribly before. The texture was a disaster, it had stringy cheese in it, and the bacon was obviously added at the very end because the flavor was not infused at all. We both had to return our tea because it was over-brewed. The server was borderline rude and didn't think to ask why we hardly ate anything. There was no manager in sight to voice our concerns. In the end, I'd recommend the breakfast basics and get lunch and dinner somewhere else (we even braved hurricane weather to eat anywhere besides Azure). If you do dine here, Julanda is the best...

He gave me I have no peace in this apartment where I still find myself living is the only thing true, the apartments are nice when you first look, but something true that not everything that shines is gold. You can be lucky to rent and have on your floor Conscious neighbors who do not talk with loud noises more than normal believe me that I am here telling the truth I am understanding now those people who have had bad experiences in their apartments only understand this problem when it is happening to you then goods here and you leave Know the people who are looking for an apartment to live a little quiet and you can sleep at night getting up mentally rested but that is your luck otherwise you will have to buy earplugs and maybe they will help you. I have to use the apartment I live in, but I still feel those animals called unconscious people. I'm tired of reporting this call to the police at Ormond Beach and nothing to do, don't waste your time on it, the office does not lose any time. you just have to wait for your contract to end and move in is the only chance you have and hopefully as I hear here expect you to return your deposit at the promised time. Well, it's not much to win just move in if you don't like it after you sign a contract and stay uncomfortable in that apartment so you can move in. I am alone, I am very quiet, the malloria of time I am not but I do not feel happy here I can not sleep the night At any time they interrupt my dream I have no life I am diabetic and this whole situation causes my highest sugar not to be able to sleep because of the stress that I have caused by those people who live above me I am letting you know if you want to rent this apartment # 1202 one day . and where are those horses that gorpean in your room where you sleep at quake time they are on your bed I advise you not to take this apartment # 1202 you will regret it while living that marriage that should live on the ground floor I think the floor of that floor is broken apartment of so much walking giving very hard blows something wrong this or construction of the...

What a disappointment and embarrassment. This restaurant was once rated one of the best in the state. In the last few months they got rid of their chef and almost entire kitchen staff (We were told this by the servers) I have taken clients and groups to this restaurant for years and as of this month, the food quality has declined so much that it is amazing that they have not shut down yet. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, no other way to put it. The staff knows and is embarrassed. Im not going to go into too much specific details because honestly every bit of the meal was terrible from the bread to the dessert. Literally inedible food, (Cold unseasoned seafood that is very obviously not fresh, Smores dessert is actually a dry cupcake sprinkled with some kind of nut topping) I have honestly never seen a restaurant decline so rapidly in such a short period of time. This restaurant needs to completely redo their kitchen and should probably close down until then to avoid further damage to their reputation. The waitstaff was very attentive. There is no problem with the front of house service, just the kitchen. The manager initially tried to defend the kitchen and the food, but once i started listing the issues she dropped the act and admitted that the entire kitchen staff was replaced recently and it inst working out. If you notice, this restaurant has all god reviews up until a few months ago and now is getting overwhelming 1 star reviews. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It was a complete embarrassment to me since i chose this restaurant and raved about it to my guests. I am not exaggerating at all when i say that the food that they are serving is below the quality of what you would expect from...
