China One — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

This is the BEST Chinese food I've EVER had, in all of my 62 years! I kid you NOT! It was seasoned to perfection. The meat, rice and vegetables were tender. See, what happened was... I am just visiting the area and I ordered from this China One, instead of the one closest to me... It must have been Divine Intervention! When the food was ready a really nice lady called to tell me I could pick it up. Once I consulted the map I realized I was about 10-15 minutes from the "correct" store, so I called the nice lady back (sorry, I failed to get her name) and explained what I had done. She was very understanding, confirmed the address with me and asked if I needed directions. I followed Google Maps, making good time. When I arrived she told me that she gave us some donuts and insisted that she carry the food to the car, because it was heavy. I grabbed the donut bag, (which included the sauces, forks and napkins) and followed her out. She was right! It was heavy! The portions were huge, and still hot, even though we were running late. I’ve been to Asia and had amazing Chinese food there as well as in many places in Europe, New York (Flushing Meadows Asian Food Neighborhood), upscale, low scale, etc. probably like all of you.

The customer service was friendly and accommodating as I ordered the food with low oil which they delivered on their promise. That’s a great start.

Then I ordered an amazing Shrimp Roll (which it was bigger and thicker in size as well as delicious and crunchy), I also ordered the Seafood Lo Mein, Egg Foo Young (which was a bit bland) and the Moo Shu Chicken. The dishes were great, flavorful and rich. Very good quality as it does not feature the local (which to me a place that is a small take out place resembles sometimes the best places wheee food is the main effort and that’s what I care for.

Can’t wait to go again and with their amazing prizes, try it again and hungry as I prepared myself by not eating anything until dinner time. That’s a best way for me to taste excellent, regular or unpleasant food.

Ordered delivery that’s why Uber eats got five stars under service!! Originally ordered because the reviews implied they delivered. Called the store they did not deliver. Had to order through Uber Eats which arrived before scheduled time that was awesome! Ordered a large pork fried rice which cost almost $15 and it is disgusting super dried out my kid frowned after tasting it and he loves any and all rice! He refused to touch it after the fist bite. Dad came in and immediately after tasting it throw out in the trash! Bourbon chicken thumbs up! Cheese steak eggrolls on the fence very bland.. $18. Beef and Broccoli shoulda been half off!! We were not happy spending almost $70. for only a fraction of food the people ate! The dogs on the other hand loved it all!! I hope you can see the dryness from the wet in...
