I placed two orders back to back on the same day back around March 5 and nothing was delivered (19 days delayed). Still waiting and after contacting their customer service I haven't followed up or responded to my emails. The phone number doesn't work it puts you into an empty call que. This is typical of drop shippers and I expected better from the reviews which I suspect may be paid/influenced. Now I'll have to follow up with my bank and notify a few other business entities about this to resolve the issue.
Update Edit(03/26/2025): The issue The Crypto Merchant is not understanding as do most businesses in the US specifically outlined with the FTC (Federal Trade Commision) is that unless a product is received by the customer after delivery it IS the responsibility of the merchant to follow up and ensure delivery. I can see the tracking but there is no movement or updates, I inform the merchant since they initiated delivery with the USPS the merchant need to follow up with their shipping company as to the status of their shipment and any delays or issues. I can reach out but ultimately and legally it is not my responsibility since I had no control in the movement of the product other than submitting payment. Payment for good which has not been delivered, and has been communicated to the merchant.
As for a resolution it is simply and already laid out from FTC law; 1. the merchant reaches out to the shipper to get a status of the package and relay updates if it is in reasonable estimated delivery timeframe (if it significantly late with no deadline to delivery that is not reasonable), or 2. if the delivery is well beyond a reasonable estimated timeframe then a full refund payment and contact the shipper to return the items to sender, or 3. Resend the same items with either a different shipping company or the same shipping company while having the original shipment company return items to sender.
There's the 3 option and so far The Crypto Merchant has not acted on one of those.
Telling me, "it's on the way" when it is weeks past the estimated due date is the issue and they have not fixed it.
If I receive my product or a refund I will come back to update and improve the review score, I appreciate good customer service and communication but this did not resolve the issue or remedy...
Read moreArrived much sooner than expected—in about 2 days. I think I ordered it on Tuesday and got it Thursday (in Wisconsin). The Crypto Merchant is listed as an authorized reseller on Trezor's site and had good reviews, so I got it from them because the price was great. I got a white Trezor One (in May 2020)—and I really like it; it's design has personality and reminds me of the cute female robot from WALL-E; it works well with Exodus on a Mac, but you have to have the device signed in to Trezor's site while Exodus is open, so until I figured that out, I couldn't get it to work. But then it handled sending and receiving several different cryptos without any issues. Whatever more obscure currencies the Trezor One doesn't have natively, Exodus can handle. I also really like the passcode design on this. It jumbles a different 9 digit Sudoku-like number pad each time on the device that you then guide your cursor to on your computer to enter your passcode. I prefer this to a touchscreen on the device because fingerprints and IR could pick up your entries, but maybe the numbers jumble on the Trezor Model T also; idk. I would buy from them again, and I would buy another one of these as a backup. Also, they reach out to you to offer any help if you need it and are friendly.
