Overall, about the experience I'd expect from a greasy dinner; however this place looks like and is priced like a nice establishment. Three of us came for breakfast at around 10am, had about a 15 minute wait for a table. Not a lot of waiting room, expect to wait outside. The place looks nice, and clean. Decent amount of four person tables, and has a bakery up front. The coffee was hot, tasted fine. Served with a glass of water. We ordered: biscuits and gravy, a Hot Brown turkey breakfast sandwich, and an omelet. Each came with a side of "seasoned diced potatoes" named after the restaurant. The food was edible, but nothing close the praise we saw online. Plate sizes are small. The potatoes were pale, had a seasoning on them, but were bland, inconsistently cooked, dry, and simply disappointing. The omelet looked fine, but didn't have cheese on over half of it. The turkey of the sandwich I would guess was boiled; it had no flavor and almost didn't look like turkey; would have thought it was ham or chicken by taste and texture. The bacon of the sandwich was good, but the mornay sauce was gritty. The "better than Red Lobster" biscuits, as seen online, were incredibly dry, bland, and tasted like flour. They served a good amount of gravy with it, which is good because you need to drown the biscuits to eat them. The server brought coffee for refills once, and spilled over the table without a care, and we had to clean it.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this breakfast like we did. It was fine, but not what is expected for the price and the rave we saw online.

Black Honey Hashery: A Must-Visit Breakfast Spot

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with incredible breakfast and lunch options, Black Honey Hashery should be at the top of your list. I recently stopped in for breakfast, and everything about the experience was top-notch—from the food to the service.

I started with the Tailgator Breakfast Burrito, and it was everything you’d want in a breakfast burrito—filling, savory, and absolutely delicious. The ingredients were perfectly balanced, and the side of sour cream and chives added a nice, tangy kick that complemented the burrito beautifully.

The Classic Breakfast didn’t disappoint either. It came with BHH’s signature hash browns, which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. You can tell they put care into every element of the meal, and it showed.

The highlight of the meal had to be the Pumpkin Pancakes. Made with real pumpkin, they were fluffy and full of rich, seasonal flavor—a perfect choice for fall! It felt like autumn on a plate, and I’d go back just for those alone.

Even the coffee was worth noting—it was bold, smooth, and the perfect way to round out the meal. And on top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Black Honey Hashery. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast burrito or seasonal pumpkin pancakes, you won’t be...

First experience with an authentically vegan omelette, the texture and consistency were spot on, if you're a veggie person like me you must try! ( Featured in photos below) Cinnamon rolls we're delicious (also featured in photos below) , and the portion sizes were excellent and filled me right up. I loved their overall honeycomb design featured in the wall textures, glasses, and patterns around the restaurant. Lovely mix of people in attendance, along with very inexpensive brunch prices compared to other hot brunch spots. Wait staff was fantastic, friendly, and our wait to be seated was less than 15 minutes at peak brunch hour (10:30am). Our waitress herself was incredibly kind, and extremely receptive after accidentally misgendered myself and my partner, she was kind, apologetic, and still delivered an exceptional experience. I felt very comfortable there, and I know of at least three other meals I could get as a vegetarian, and a few others as vegan! The coffee is delicious, and was a perfect addition to my Meal, ( featured in photos below is the house chai charger, iced) as well as the scrumptious bowl of fresh fruit as recommended by our waitress. Overall an excellent first...
