I came here about a month ago and completely forgot to write my review. Now, I'm a people pleaser, and I normally try to give food service employees the benefit of the dout (I've also worked a a DQ for 4 years, 2016-2020), but this experience was absolutely ridiculous. First off, the lady taking my order in drive thru clearly was not listening very well when my fiance and I were ordering. I had ACCIDENTALLY said 'mint' when I first started to order and said 'opps no mint! I accidentally said that!" Becuase the giant mint oreo blizzard poster was taking up a big part of the menu board and I truly just accidentally said it cause I was looking at it. After I corrected myself, and said "regular M&M blizzard" we pull forward, the girl collecting our payment at the window does not repeat our order to us, takes the payment, then hands me a MINT OREO blizzard. š Which is ok I know, mistakes happen. Then, I decided to go inside and ask for it to be remade since it wasn't what I asked for. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I had gotten a medium and it was undefiled by about an inch below the top of the cup. I don't remember the reason that the manager told why but something about a new policy about them having to be undefiled? Like might as well just give me a small when I paid for a medium. Just seems totally wrong. The manger is nice though and asks the girl working in chill to remake my blizzard, she seem to have quite a bit of attitude at first, but makes my blizzard and hands it to me, doesn't say anything and walks away. And I am left holding a MINT M&M blizzard, when I was sure I had now a second time, asked for a regular M&m blizzard. The manger comes back and I tell him, so he brings it back to girl in chill and she literary yells at him "she said mint! She said mint!" I'm assuming from when she was first taking my order in the drive thru. I even try to nicely tell over over the counter; "I'm sorry I had accidentally said it at first but then corrected myself and order a regular M&M". She seems to be very upset and a bit hostile but I'm such a suck up she comes back and I'M the one apologizing to her saying it was my fault and trying to just be nice cause she seems so upset. šµāš«šµāš«šµāš«. Sorry the long story but this was NOT a positive experience what so ever. Maybe management or thr owners should actually read all these reviews so they can start making some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent through the drive through and ordered two treats for my daughter and her friend for her birthday sleepover. When we got home and ready to eat we realized they were completely wrong! Two completely different items. We were also charged more than what our two items would have cost. The most unfortunate of all was that my daughter's friend was very allergic to peanuts and the item she was given instead was a peanut buster parfait. Not wanting to let my daughter down on her birthday, I drove 15 minutes back to the store and explained what it happened to them. I was given the overage of change that I had spent in return and given the correct items. No trust me, I understand completely that mistakes happen and I was very calm and understanding. However, not once was an apology given. Not once was even an admission of error. Not to mention the blizzards we were given were extremely runny, they were like milk. Definitely could not have tipped them upside down. I am very disappointed in this location and will not be back!! I had two negative experiences prior to this one and I have gone back twice hoping for different results. I guess that's not the case.
And I'm just expecting the same response to this review that they give everyone saying they hope you'll give them another chance. I feel like it's pretty scripted the response that they give everybody on here when they receive a negative review. You would think if they truly cared about customer service, they would individualize their responses and actually take the time to read these reviews and correct their errors. I don't need an apology any longer from dairy Queen. They had the opportunity to do that. I'm simply letting my community know how...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI showed up to the location for a Door Dash pick up at 9:55pm. It being a DD order means that they received the order at least 15 min prior to my arrival. They close at 10pm, so I knew I was cutting it close. When I pulled up I was treated with a polite request to please wait a minute to speak with them. Absolutely! I work with these businesses all the time, so I get it. However, they then proceeded to close the store and walk out, leaving me at the speaker without any interaction. I'm sorry, but since when does "close at 10pm" mean walking out the f-ing door at 10pm? Maybe I'm old school, but when a restaurant says open until 10pm that meant serving people until 10pm and then if anything left for "closing" is left you complete it prior to leaving. Apparently closed at 10pm means you have to order before 9:45pm and don't dare show up 5 minutes before close, cuz they'll have the lobby doors locked and leave you hanging in the drive thru. I could hear them joking and laughing about it s they were walking out the store, pointing at me to their friend in the car who was waiting. Them being notified by DD that I was coming for this pick up tells me they decided to make it their meal for the evening. Stealing from the DD customer and my time and gas, just to be out a few minutes earlier then putting forth...
