Krekel's West — Restaurant in Decatur

We waited in line for over 45 minutes, in such extreme heat, nobody took our order while we were in line, so when we got up to the window to place our order, we were greeted by this very rude and very disrespectful employee, after she rudely turned her back on us and slammed the window in our face, she returned 5 minutes later took our order, which was a milk shake and an order of onion rings, we were told to pull forward and wait, we happily obliged, only to be once again rudely approached by the store manager with our onion rings to be told, next time we need to wait our turn in line like the rest of their customers and place our order! We were shocked and replied, we did just that , but nobody took our order, thats y we thought they took orders at the same window where we pay... We were even apologizing, for their lack of customer service, we were then called liars, for which my Son completely lost his cool...we're from California and we go and rate these establishments, with full audio and visual video footage, I've never seen my son lose his cool and give such a bad review, this clearly is how this manager trains his Krekels employees! Shame on this disgusting and deplorable behavior by this fast food restaurant, he should be fired immediately, and flagged as a unprofessional and uneducated simpleton posing as someone who knows nothing about how to treat their customers or remotely show any kind of professionalism in running a bathroom cleaning crew let alone any shift overseeing anyone whatsoever! Not letting this...

Burnt, hard fries tasted like they were old and re dipped in grease, watery cherry 'dirty machine' tasting shake, immature staff....I will not be back to this location...Wood St here I come...when I called to complain about this horrible 13.00 meal...I will add that the burger was good ... I was told the manager was not available...so the worker told me to tell her my issue...I did just that...she asked me how to spell Natalie and that she'd write my name down in a book for a replacement...good! 6 bucks for a nasty shake was not going to go down the drain...I went back the next day to get my replacement shake that was sitting on the counter when I pulled up to the window, just to be told sorry your name is not in the book we can't give it to you...I then asked to see the manager and was told he was busy so my only option was I could BUY the shake...heck no I'm not paying another dime for a shake there...however, I was willing to give it another try with a replacement...the answer again was your name is not in the book... so I guess they threw the shake away...seems to me they should've been more helpful instead of standing their ground with the big No...the workers need to know that no matter how much of a nuisance they believe the customers are...it's always good to have good customer service and to be helpful when we're spending our hard earned money... Krekles is not cheap...I...

Let me start off with always the best burger and fries as someone grew up eating from wood st krekels and mainly 36 but today I set in drve thru with only 4 cars infront of me and getting my food took 45 min 30 of them mins I watched all the horse playing and lack of ability from everyone of the employees like a girl leaning on a boy at the pop machine they tried handing me the 2 banana splits I asked if they could put them in fridge till the food was done so it didn't melt nope they just set on the counter to melt then 20 mins later here come a double cheeseburger plain and a fry then handed me the food and banana splits still had to wait another 10 mins for a vanilla milk shake that crew had no hassle and lack of thereof everyone playing and cuddling with one light skin girl look like she's the only one I could see in front trying if krekels west will continue bad business like this seaming I live down the road from there I will have to travel that crew never needs to work together...
