Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Decatur

This was my first time stopping there, I went through the drive-thru, no one said hello or smiled at me or gave me any kind of courtesy. I felt it was a little rude. I understand they were busy, however, Starbucks treats their customers nice even though they’re busy. I will say one thing, I asked if they had a menu with pricing before I left the drive thru and the person said no, and proceeded to reach up and put the tip of their thumb in their nose to wipe whatever away was in there… Now that I felt was disgusting and unsanitary to say the least! I am an avid coffee drinker, and I frequent many drive-through coffee businesses and this was the first time I’ve ever seen anything like it! Not going back! Listen...it is definitely not a Starbucks - but I don't hate it. It's kind of overpriced for what it is -and the people at the window seem to hate their job... but aside from that, it's a convenient location. So considering not everyone cares about a friendly face and some just want a good cup of coffee - it might be the place for you. I'd say it is mediocre at best...There are other better options in the area but none of which have a drive thru. And considering they're a new business and they've been pretty busy, it doesn't surprise me that they keep running out of syrups/flavoring and other menu items. It's not the end of the world and it doesn't ruin my day. I guess all of this to say - give it a try, it's not the best but definitely not the worst. I've been going to this coffee shop regularly for a long time now. I fell in love with their coffee, especially their hot pumpkin spice caramelicious latte. I've never gone inside, I'm actually not sure if they offer indoor service or if it's just drive through. I've always received great service from the employees. There was one time when they accidentally gave me the wrong kind of drink, and they made me the right kind and let me keep the accidental one for free. They're quick but efficient and their coffee is delicious. It's hot when it's supposed to be hot, and it's cold when it's supposed to be cold. They have a great variety to choose from, and it won't take long to discover your new favorite coffee. This business deserves to be on every street corner and in every shopping mall. An...
