Peony Pavilion Restaurant — Restaurant in Dedham

My family has been ordering Christmas Eve dinner for the past 15 years from this establishment. Today we went to check on our multiple hundred dollar order that was expected to be picked up in a few hours and was ordered a couple days in advance and we were told they had decided to cancel it due to their business being short staffed. Along with the stress of a cancelation on a major holiday that they had plenty of time to plan for they never informed us leaving our family the possibility of no chance to order elsewhere. I am appalled by the attitude of the employee I spoke to and the disrespect this establishment showed my family. I will never return here and I would advise others...

I’m sorry to say this because the guy at the counter was a nice enough guy. But… The food was terrible! I ordered chicken lo mein and egg rolls. The lo mein had VERY little chicken and the noodles were far too over cooked. It resembled over cooked leftovers. And the “Egg Rolls”… Now a good egg roll is stuffed with dark green and bright red deliciousness. However these were not that. These were filled will pale green veggies that had no flavor except the exorbitant amount of grease. I will not be visiting again. I’d have been more satisfied with a 20c Ramen. Orange beef beefs isn't????? Where is the Beef??????? I called to let them know they gave me the wrong order they fought with me over it said it looks like the orange chicken. I said no beef is red or brown not white. So I will just say where is the Beef?????? I figured I would give them one more try because my last experience was bad as well.
