We were waiting with our children for about an hour while these lovely ladies made the huge order my husband placed (he was really craving everything on the menu). They make the food fresh so it was definitely worth the wait. Just be aware if you're in rush this isn't fast food! And the quality will show that. Everything was Amazing! And the spice level was perfect for us (often folks see me and default to no spice, but there was a good amount of heat!).
(Everything that follows is just extra details for why we know this is so good!)
I don't often post reviews, but given I've been staying in town (London, OH) for over a month and my family is used to eating Indian food a couple times a week. My husband being Bengali it's just food really. But even back home in Southern California we're hard put in finding a restaurant where we can all get quality we like for the dishes we prefer. We haven't had a go to since we lived in Queens NY where we practically lived at Jackson Heights for the food :D
I usually just end up cooking myself now when I have the chance, but working full-time remotely with 2 children under 4 yrs home with me most of the time I'm hard put to find the time. So when my husband was adamant he needed spicy food I decided we needed to take the plunge and try this food truck just off of 70. And now I thoroughly will recommend to my Mom and her friends who live local and love Indian food, but never noticed this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly, this is a five-star place I only gave four because I could not get 4 1/2 and I would only give 4 1/2 because they were missing mango lassi other than that wait time for Indian food was about average and it was cold outside when I went so I would call before you go so youāre not standing around but thereās also a bar next-door and you can wait inside there if you like, but the food was excellent very tasty, and the portions were very nice. I have been to other places where I would pay upwards of $30 for the amount of food I received here the price was right on target coming out to $20 for goat curry three roti, and kind of tea drink that the lady recommended since they did not have mango lassi. It was quite the opposite of mango lassi. It was a hot drink but it turned out to be pretty good .The ladies inside sounded like they were having a great time too. I will definitely come back to this place and recommend it to anyone who loves...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHello driver Veero, you should not order from this dhaba at all. I had called and asked him earlier. Do you have a deal of 10 rotis and two vegetables? He said, yes, we have bhaji available. After that, he said, "Two vegetables for 10 rotis and no leftovers." He charged me $36. When I called him later and took the money, my co-driver brought it. After that, he said, "Bhaji, that's the other dhaba. This is Ustad's dhaba. This is Ustad's tabe. That's the other Punjabi tabe. You ordered wrong. It means bhaji is $36. Two vegetables are not leftovers. The second bhaji that was given was salad. It was also a bad idea. It was just onions. Please, you should completely destroy this...
