I've given this location several chances and ultimately it is just one of the worst locations I've ever been to. Incorrect order EVERY SINGLE TIME. My visit this evening however was the final straw. I always order on the app to make the transaction as seamless as possible. When I arrived at the speaker, I gave my code and was told to pull up to the last window. There were 2 cars in front of me which left me sitting at the first window. A young man opened up the window and said "no, go to the last window." I advised him that I couldn't pull up any further with 2 people ahead of me and he just said "oh, sorry." When I reached the last window, the young lady didn't speak at all. She handed me the bag and my drink and shut the window. Given my previous experiences here, I checked my order before pulling out and sure enough, it hadn't been prepared correctly. I knocked on the window and waited several minutes before the young lady returned to the window and said "Are you waiting on something?" I advised that my sandwich hadn't been prepared correctly and told her what was missing from the item. She then took the item back in through the window which is a massive infection control issue. It was clear that the missing ingredients had been thrown on the sandwich and rewrapped. I'm fully aware that McDonald's employees are not known for being the friendliest employees however this location has the rudest children running things in the evenings. Read moreThis experience was from June, 2020: When the lady took my order at the drive through she said, "That was too easy." I wish the same had been at my end. I had to pull over and park because they were "waiting on french fries," and I told the girl that I didn't really want to because last time I did that they forgot me and I waited 15 minutes. She assured me that it wouldn't happen again. It didn''t, however after a several minute wait, they brought me the wrong order. I did not notice until I was out of the driveway, so I had to come back. I told a girl at the door what had happened and showed her my receipt. A few minutes later she brought out the correct order. I asked for perhaps a complimentary apple pie or something for my trouble, but not only did they NOT offer anything, I just got a smirk. Really poor service. By the way, the fries they were "waiting on" were not cooked completely.
UPDATE: This experience was in August, 2020. The SAME situation at the drive through today, but this time it was chicken nuggets they were "waiting on." Once again I was told to pull over and park, and once again offered nothing for my inconvenience. When I asked for something, a guy with the attitude of a brat said, "I'll refund your money for the nuggets right now!" So I pulled over and the same brat brought me my order. Read moreLocation: McDonalds in Deer Lodge, Montana on Sunday, June 8, 2025. (1:30 pm ) I placed my order through the drive thru. The employee on the speaker repeated my order back to me. At the end, he told me it would cost $6.28. I knew that was wrong, but he only flashed my order on the screen for me for about a half a second. When I got up to the pay window, I asked him to repeat the order back to me, which was correct and the cost was $16.28. I proceeded to the pickup window and received my order in a bag. I went with my grandchildren next door to the playground area and when we opened the order, there were multiple mistakes. I walked back over to the pay window and told them about all the mistakes in the order. A receipt was not provided to me to explain the order in the bag. I wanted to know if I paid for the additional items that they put in the bag and I didn't receive items that I ordered. He could not tell me, and therefore I asked for the manager. I asked the manager (female) to tell me if I paid for the extra items and she told me there was no way for her to look it up on the screen. This was ridiculous. She could not help me at all, and she did not offer to correct the order. I gave up and walked away. I will NEVER return nor will I ever go to another...
