I wished I could give zero star but the option is not available. I visited Donna Caribbean restaurant off Power-line Road today 24July2023 and the customer service was just HORRIBLE. The lady wid di bag a red hair pan r head took my soup order and when I asked her what kind of meat is in the soup she turned her back and did not respond instead, it seem like she was talking to someone on her phone or she was mumbling under her breath. When I attempted to place the rest of my order with the other lady,( the one with the eye lash weh longer than jet blue plane wings) she was worse than the other lady. I placed an order for oxtails and she asked what kind of rice, the rice and pease looked old and dried out so I was not really pleased with ordering it. She asked me if I want vegetables and I told her no, then she asked if l want plantains and I said no, but my mother said take the plantains because it comes with the meal. When I told her I want to the plantains, she ignored me (like she was bothered BY my indecisiveness) put down the plate, took up a new plate and attempt to get my mothers order. I said ma’am I need the plantains and she ignored me, still asking my mother what she wants. I immediately told my mother and grandfather we are leaving and not spending my money there. Apart from the bad customer service the rice and pease looked old , the patty pan had one piece a patty like the top portion was missing and it sits in the patty pan and dried out. We left and went to Caribbean Tease off lake worth road where I spent my $123. I heard this place (Donna Caribbean restaurant) is a franchise and I will NEVAH EVA SUPPORT THIS BRAND...

I was so over joy to finally have a Donna's Jamaican Restaurant in this area because to be honest it's the only carribean resturants I visit that actual have breast in there curry chicken and brown stew chicken.I was so please I actually did a review on my blog on Facebook but I was disappointed a few days later, but I went in to buy breakfast for my husband and it was ackee and saltfish with hard food. The lady ask me what I wanted I told her dumplings, banana and yam. She began to inform me that I was allow three piece. Now if the dumplin was big and the yam was a normal slice it would have been fine. So I told her two dumplin and the yam but you should see the yam size, well u can see it in the pic. I know ackee and saltfish is expensive so that was ok I didn't receive alot but come now the food portion is crazy even...
Read moreLocated along Powerline Rd., Donna's offers breakfast, lunch, entrees, vegetarian dishes, sides, desserts, cold beverages, and natural juices at reasonable prices. Upon entering you would see a long broad counter where you order your food on one side and make your payment on the other side. Trays of various foods that was served were kept warm in the middle. There is no table seating at this location.
After overlooking the menu displayed on the wall, one of the employees prepared my order - brown stew chicken, which was served with rice & peas, fried plantains, and a small salad. Once I received my food, I quickly sat in my vehicle to eat. It was delicious and hitting the spot. The rice & peas was cooked to a soft consistency; the chicken was browned nicely, tender and full of flavor. The plantains was fried nicely and was sweet, and the salad was freshly prepared, but had no dressing or vinaigrette added. I was so hungry that I didn't even care. I ate it as plain as it was.
I will surely return when I want food from...
