Fantastic Wok II — Restaurant in Deerfield Township

I placed an order over the phone for delivery. I asked the woman taking the order to add a $4.00 tip then and she said yes. When the delivery driver showed up, I signed the credit card slip and put a dash through the tip line. I handed it back and told him I already added a tip to the order. He became hostile and started asking for a tip after I already explained that I added it on the phone. He proceeded to write "5.00" on the tip line that I already put a dash through and then wrote over the printed total, the total with the $5.00 that he added.

I told him to take the food back and cancel the order. He was still very aggressive and was leaning into our door. After a few minutes of me and my girlfriend telling him he had tip and to take the food and cancel the order, he left. I immediately called the establishment and asked for the manager. I was told he wasn't there and given his number. When I called him, he told me he was very rude and passive. He told me he canceled the order. When I told him this could be considered credit card fraud, he hung up on me.

I then went online to check my credit card. There is a charge pending for the amount that the delivery driver added to the slip. I called the establishment back and the women told me she was not able to add a tip on the phone. She did not tell me this when i was placing the order. She also said she canceled the order of around $25.00 The charge on my card was for $30.42. She argued with me over the amount and then told me to text a picture of the credit card charge to the manager. I did this and have not received a response. From the beginning of the order, there was a major total discrepancy and at this point, after the driver decided to add his own totals, I don't think they are refunding me the correct amount.

Let’s be honest, you’re not here to get healthy, top-tier food. I get it, some weeknights you just wanna munch down some fried rice and breaded chicken drenched in sugar sauce. That’s where we were at too about 2 hours ago. On DoorDash, I got the general tso’s and low mein, my wife got sweet and sour chicken and rice.

Let me tell you, I’ve had Chinese takeout from a million places and this food they made for my pregnant wife and I was probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had (and the bar is already pretty low). My chicken tasted like plastic, the noodles were flavorless, her sauce was bland and the low mein was gross. How you screw up the absolute staples of Chinese takeout is beyond me, even the rice was dry. Since they refused the refund request, they’ve chosen to be publicly dragged. I’ve never dogged on a restaurant like this, but it really is the bottom of the barrel. You can do better for your take out tonight if you’ve made it this far and I hope you do. Pick...

Sorry , I'm not agree saying the same than others said about this food on the previous reviews. I don't know if they change kitchen personal . I only can say that all the food I bough was direct to the garbage , not even my son who is fanatic to chicken wings from Chinese restaurants can eat it. All the food taste not fresh at all , also extremely salty, be careful , I have many friend who know restaurant industry and they say bad food can be hide with plenty of salt.
