First time going to Soak City.. first impressions looked like ur typical water park , lockers were completely over priced, all the loungers were taken by ppl. Or ppls stuff, every ice machine was out of Ice or restaurants on the list were closed and we found the Coca Cola stand with no ice was opened in Soak City..Kings Island was out of ice too that is unacceptable , food shops, dessert shops, gift shops were so over priced it was depressing, we purchased food & drinks tickets for our guest & food tickets for ourselves it cost us the price of a mim. Wage employees weekly pay another shocker...guess someone has to pay for those unfriendly workers they hire...wasn't able to take a slow float down Lazy River cuz the line moved like a clogged pipe, same with the wave pool to over crowded no place to sit we was half tempted to go to the baby pool cuz it was the only pool not over crowded and it had couple empty loungers. ...we decided to go down the slides that didn't have a line 5 miles long , Paradise Plunge was pretty cool & fast slide by the time I reached the end my top was completely under my breast & it gave me a wedgie like I've never had before only to realize I gave a watcher a complete show of my goods thanks to this crazy ride, on to the Zoom Floom was great wished it lasted longer! On to Rendezvous Run loved this slide, but I'll never go down it again the staircase to get to the top was a ride in itself a scary one at that...the entire staircase and platform moved all I could think of is I'm gonna fall to my death before I see what this going head first showing everyone just how wide my butt is , all about...lol With all that said humouredly...I'm giving Soak City 2 stars, why because for 40 bucks I shouldn't have to drink hot pop that I paid a small fortune for & have a chair at least to sit on Instead of sitting on a brick pile or walking & waiting while watching everyone else having fun , guess next time I'll get there at the crack of dawn in hopes of getting a spot or at least see what the bottom of the pools look like before the cattles...

We are season pass holders and rented a cabana for Father’s Day. It was my Husband and I, as well as our two young girls. We usually enter KI through their main entrance but decided to do their Soak City entrance because we thought it would be easier. Entering was quite difficult. They were having strollers and wagons in a separate line, which I understand. They were thoroughly checking everyone’s belongings, which I also get. There was only 1 person checking bags/strollers for all of the families that were in line. It took a considerable amount of time. Our littles were getting hot and antsy waiting in the line. It was pretty crowded once in, but not unbearable. The drink refill machines near us weren’t working, which was a bummer. Then my 5 year old wanted to go to the wave pool (she’s scared to enter too deep and only wanted to go about knee deep and splash around). They asked her to put on a life jacket to enter, which I had no problem with. They also informed me that I would need to put a life jacket on my 6 month old to even enter the wave pool area with her at all. She’s 16 lbs. There weren’t any life jackets that were small enough for her and I told them I wasn’t getting in with her, but they wouldn’t allow her to enter without one. Since my 5 year old wanted to go in, I put the smallest one I could find on my babe. It actually seemed more dangerous for her to have it on because of how big it was and how it improperly fitted around her head, neck, face area. I took it off of her due to this and we were just sitting a bit back from the water and not in the water while watching my 5 year old (who continued to have a life jacket on). We weren’t planning on staying in there long. The lifeguard whistled for someone to come over to me and they told me that my 6 mo had to wear the life jacket, though she wasn’t in the water at all and I was holding her. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion. We just had to end up...

Ive been about 5 times now and its not terrible and the rides can be fun but they break down a lot and the lifeguards are always clueless and make up rules as they go. Go to one ride with a hat and its fine then come back later and another saids you have to hold it then come back to same ride later and no its not hats at all then come back and its allowing hats again. Watched supervisors even tell lifeguards to do certain things while getting people on rides that were extremely bad and watched as people got mild cuts and hurt from it when what the lifeguard was doing before was working just fine. Wave pool also only stays on for extremely short time but has a long timer for no waves which kinda defeat the purpose of a wave pool. Lazy river just circles a small spot with only a couple openings that lead no where. Also a line for the lazy river which is pretty dumb. Ride with mats and some with tubes they only have a few so you have to wait for someone to get off to get one which is annoying. I have a platinum pass and both kings island and soak city I've been many time and to this day even though i paid for lockers for the year i have to get a supervisor every-time because my card always saids ticket error and it does the same for drinks even with my drink package. Standard lockers are the smallest lockers i have ever seen in any park in my life. Fast lanes are pretty useless because most rides just link them in 5 feet from the end of the line anyways.

Edit: Im now changing it from 2 stars to 1 after being told no flips on the Flowrider because a memo they have from 1999 even though the current rules that are updated they showed me say...

After 2 years of having a King's Island season pass, I finally decided to visit Soak City. I went last Friday around 10:30 AM. I was shocked because I didn't know that Soak City had its own parking lot. That was amazing. It made our trip inside the park so much easier, having a dedicated entrance. The entry process was so quick and easy. When we walked in, my first reaction was, "Wow, I didn't realize they had so many slides and attractions." I know that I counted at least 25 slides. There were also 2 large wave pools. They actually had different vibes, which I like. One seems to be near a more kiddy area, and the other seems to be closer to the bar and the beach volleyball area. I visited Soak City with my daughters, ages 10 and 8, and they were able to ride everything that they wanted. We went down many slides. We visited the lazy river and splash zone and also spent time in the wave pool during this trip. We ate twice on this day. The first time, we had smoked chicken wings and corn pudding. Surprisingly, that was really good. Even my kids enjoyed the wings. They weren't spicy, they were like honey, sticky wings. The next time, we had a jumbo hot dog with fries and pizza. The food selection was really good for a water park. The food was hot and delicious. The kids really enjoyed it, and they never waited a long time for any slide. I am very happy that I decided to try out Soak City. We will definitely be back. I'm so disappointed that this was my first time going into Soak City after two years of having a season pass.

Week of July 29th 2024 was insanely HOT, humid... the weather was oppressive! Even though it was cloudy, it was sticky - I think if I jumped hard enough, I could have swam through the air! Thank goodness for the water park! Entrance was delayed by 1.5 hrs due to weather concerns - turned out to be an excellent HOT afternoon. The waterpark was the only way to survive it (from a Canadians perspective). Recommend weekday visit. Longest wait for slide was 10 minutes (the big horn looking one). Dual wave pools is cool! When one finishes waving, the other started. Lazy river is fun. Sadly, noticed a lot of wasted water (leaky slides, water spilling over in Lazy River) - I bet the water would have been a bit warmer if they didn't have to dump so much fresh water in constantly. The overall water temp was comfortable to sit in and cool enough to feel refreshed. I'm a pool guy and appreciated that the water was clean and chemicals were balanced (no heavy chlorine smell, clear water). Recommend water shoes where you can (super hot concrete - a late July day can easily give you 1st degree burns on the bottom of your feet!). TIP: Get a spot to the left of the smaller wave pool - right in-front of the horn water slide at the back.
