Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs

Worst Zaxbys Ive been to. I love the restaurant chain, always have. I make a visit multiple times a week. The Defuniak Springs store clearly has some issues in management and training with food handling, preparation and presentation for staff. Every time, and i mean that literally, i go into the DFS store, I always get wings, and it seems solely at this store, they struggle with packaging food to a presentable standard. Each purchase of wings from this location results in a floorboard saturated in wing sauce from a bag full of contents to the same nature; forks, napkins, salads and anything else in the bag. It seems to me that this entirely unprofessional presentation of food is due to a lack of training and oversight from management. Every bag looks as though it were lied on its side, food placed in haphazardly on its side, then handed over in the same fashion, but now in an upright position draining any and all liquid contents in containers, into bag and unto all which isnt already swimming in said liquid. Please take a professional note of this habitual issue and rectify it. I have literally never wrote a bad review, but after spending over a hundred dollars from multiple occasions of having to clean my vehicle because of aforementioned issues, i am too void of patience to not say something. Fix....

If you are hunting for a chicken place to eat do not go here. Easy enough to get to from the road but that is about it. We had never been here before, so we took time to look around and see what the place was like and it was fairly clean in the dinning area. Bathrooms were modern but a little messy. Once at the counter I asked for chicken breast and was told they don't serve breast but only chicken strips. I asked if they had a sandwich that had only white meat and they did. I ordered this as I was thinking it would be like Chick-Fila or KFC. When I got the sandwich, it was like a slider size, the bread was all crunched up and the piece of "breaded" chicken was about a 3" diameter and looked like it had been under the warmer for hours. I took a bite and it was tough and chewy. My wife and I left and we will never be back ! The only thing good was one of the servers that showed up to work while we were ordering seemed to know what she was doing and eager to help, but we didn't get that one to...

We live 20 min outside of town. Our order wasn't complicated. I ordered the 3 little chicken sandwiches without sauce and fries. My grandmother, whose been looking forward to your opening, asked for a chicken salad sandwich and mushrooms Her sandwich was slopped together with most of the chicken salad in the container instead of on the bread. My little sandwiches had sauce on both sides and no fries. Given the case of many food allergies in this world, you cannot take the chance on putting sauce on a sandwich and not paying attention to the order. Your $15 worth of food made its way into our garbage can and we won't be returning to any Zaxbys again. Customer service includes how your food is prepped by request. So sad that your just opening and already your staff doesn't have the time to cater to the needs of those who make your paychecks possible... Signed local...
