Dear Jimmy John's, I wanted to inform you why you have lost a long time customer and patron. My home is located 1.69 miles from your location on the EXACT same street as your location. I also incidentally live on a private drive less than 100 yards off of Annie Glidden. BUT I AM OUT OF YOUR DELIVERY ZONE??? However one of my local businesses, which is 4.6 miles from your location, on the complete opposite side of town, with 7 additional stop lights and a train is in your delivery zone? So if I'm understanding you correctly, your advanced algorithm that calculates this genius delivery zone excludes one of the higher income neighborhoods literally just down the street from you? Tonight, about a dozen or so guests, several of whom are also local buisness owner's attempted to place a large order from you. We don't care what's on special. We dont ask if you charge extra for this or that. We tip extremely well. Your driver was certain to walk with a $20..... Several of us even use you for company event's. I can only assure you that not only will I personally never do any buisness with your company ever again, my company will never do any buisness with your company again, and no employee of any of my companies will ever do any business with your company again if they expect a Christmas bonus! Several of the other local business owners present shared the same sentiment. We are just in awe. And I'll tell you why. It's not a matter of not understanding your right to formulate your decisions on where you choose to deliver. It's the fact that had you even bothered to look at our longstanding 12 year loyal patronage from this very same address, it's simply inconceivable that once in every 20 orders we will be told we are out of your delivery zone by 300 yards? Actually, the last time this happened you took our order. When we called to inquire as to what was taking so long 90 minutes later, we were then informed you no longer deliver to our neighborhood less than two miles down the street from you. You simply reminded me of why I generally shop small business in this small town and I sincerely think that you just created a competitor as some of the colleagues and I present think some competition from a small independent gourmet sandwich shop will be a good dose of reality as to where your policies clearly lack common...
Read moreI stopped by jimmy johns before leaving town to chicago, and i ordered a meal, no problem until the end, after giving me my drink and bag they just shut the window , and i looked into thw bag, I had no straw. No biggie i said, ill just wait to ask for one, when i finally do, they say , oh we donât have straws, yeah we have been out for weeks. Sorry and then shut the wondow. ⊠OKAY.. my question now is why was i not informed during the ordering process, why was I left in the dark until I asked ? Now the reason I am giving a 1 star is because, most places when something is out they say âjust to let you know we currently do not have ââ-. Did you still want that?â Leaving the decision to us, now a straw isnât a big deal but my drink went to waste as i cannot drink it while driving. To the customer, by not informing them everything, it simply looks as though you are just trying to make a sale. It doesnât really matter what it is, you should always let the customers know about something while they...
Read moreDisappointed in the laziness of the employees and incompleteness of my order. It was never was updated as completed online, drink straws weren't included, and I was asked to fill drinks for a pickup. We spent nearly $200 on a company order for a birthday and I received attitude about how the machine to fill drinks was in the corner and the drinks listed are on the receipt. Nobody offered to help me carry anything either.
I recently purchased birthday food from the Potbelly location down the street and all the food was done correctly, drinks filled for me, and an employee offered to carry out the food to my vehicle.
The only reason it's not 1 star is because the food was done correctly and boxed up for me.
Never ordering food for company birthdays from this...
