The Ice Cream Bar — Restaurant in Delanco Township

I was on break from work, had a previous okay experience ok experience so I stopped in with limited time. The guy at the register with a beard was talking to an officer standing next to him as a friend would be. A woman was in the back cleaning up. I waited for some to say hello. She came all the way from the back, now feeling like I am intruding on their time, not welcomed at all she asked could she help me. The gentleman kept up his conversation while standing at the register. She got me a soft serve and peanut butter topping through the exhaustion of working or stress of doing the work herself that shift it was apparent she was not happy.

She then told the gentlemen what I got to ring up the sale he kept conversing than stopped stated what then repeated what he heard then apologized without even saying hello only told me what I owed made the change and then without saying thank you come again or anything turned to the officer and continued his conversation as if I was unimportant as when I walked in.

I will not be back to this place again. I will travel forty minutes out of my way for good service and this place is around the block but will not support being made to feel worse than when...

Worth the trip & then some! Excellent! I didn't have any expectations going in, besides eating ice cream I guess. I ordered banana ice cream & peanut butter ice cream. The ice cream itself was creamier & just tasted better than any ice cream that I've had... & w/several ice cream spots within 15 min from me, I've had them all. Besides the long list of ice cream flavors, the list of topping choices was equally as long (if not longer), and included some that I've never even saw before! I noticed that they also have water ice, soft serve, AND GRAPE SODA! Also, the staff was super friendly & personable. So, starting out w/no expectations, this place just raised my expectations for any other ice cream place that I may go to... Though unless I'm out of town & find myself in some kind of emergency ice cream jam, I don't know if I'll be going to many other ice cream places after...

How cute! I wish they were open year-round like Holiday up the road. They are CASH ONLY, but I think I saw this year on their sign that they do CashApp and Venmo now (I hadn't noticed that before). During the summer I would prefer to come here because the atmosphere is actually like a little ice cream parlor! It even has a small couch, tables/chairs, benches outside, and a few games and coloring books for kids. My ice cream was delicious. I paid $4 for my "one" scoop - no complaints on the portion, but it is slightly smaller than up the road. I can't wait to go back, especially because I can ride my bike next time!
