Gyro Kabob House — Restaurant in Delaware

I’m a stickler for great customer service and I always have it there whenever Matahri (spellcheck) is there and other employees they are always nice... the food is always on point. It’s my favorite spot cause is HALAL. I would’ve given 5 star if I didn’t experience what I did today. My order was correct but the only thing wrong with it was the cook drowned my rice in white sauce, promise y’all I’m not picky ..... I live all the way in Wilmington and when I got home to start eating that’s when I’m saw it I couldn’t even eat my food cause it was like white sauce soup ... so I called and I think I spoke to the owner just to let him know I was really polite because mistakes happen you know ... instead of an apology he argued with me making seem like I was at fault . I’m not a trouble maker Wallahi but it just made me upset with the way he spoke to me he literally said to me “13 years in this business and you are calling me about extra white sauce” mind you I’m really a loyal customer and I tell everyone I know to go to this place. I wasn’t asking for a refund I just was letting them know what happened and was hoping to get a new order it’s a certain way you talk to people even if your frustrated don’t take it out on someone. I would rate Gyro Kebab House five stars, even though the food wasn't to my personal liking. Don't get me wrong the chicken was seasoned very well however they use thigh meat chicken instead of breast meat. I do not like the texture of thigh meat. (Too gristly, collagen doesn't have good mouth feel). The vegetable toppings were fresh the pita was soft and fresh as well. It would have been amazing if they had used breast meat. Next time I will try the falafel which I'm sure I will like better. The biggest negative would be that they use crispy coated fries. Typically I will not return to a place that dares to use these. Fries should be potatoes not dextrose. Crispy coating picks up bad stale grease flavor very easily. Again next time I think I will try the rice and well be happier. Even though the majority of the food went in the trash I still hope everyone supports these gentlemen they were extremely nice and I think they run a good restaurant just a different choice in ingredients would...

THE WORST MANAGEMENT EVVVER! I ORDER 4 Chicken Gyro Combos over the phone n he took the order n I had my brother picked my food n when he came back n the order was missing 4 fries and 4 sodas I called the restaurant n he said no you ordered just the sandwich n he was so RUDE didn't even apologised for taking the wrong order I went to the store to return the sandwiches n he was arrogant n said I dont want you as a customer if you return this order he was threatening me why I am returning the order and he was always telling me that I placed the wrong order. I mean I am the one who is ordering food n who wants what food n he is saying that I didn't placed the order right.

They are RUDE, they are arrogant, they just dont listen when taking the order and wont apologise for any inconvenience their customers have to face, never offer any solutions. Very rude staff n management. The old guys that used to run this store before was a gentlemen.
