KC's Pizza — Restaurant in Delaware

Parking was easy, strip mall, plenty of parking. This is a pizzeria with a solid line up of Mexican delights. The place is small with 2 small booths & 5 tables. I've been getting messages for a while to get in here. I wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly, everything we needed, we got in a reasonable time. I got a good pizza shop vibe in there. I'll have to come back and try the pizza.

For drinks we stuck to water. They had options of fountain sodas, and various bottles to choose from.

Chips & Salsa!!!!!!!! Chips... decent, could hold a topping. Didn't love, didn't hate. Salsa...I wasn't a fan, tasted too much like Italian cuisine to me. From my notes "kinda like a mushy Italian mix". With that in mind, I've had far worse.

I ordered Chicken Flautas: Four Flautas stuffed with shredded chicken, deep fried, topped with lettuce, tomato, sour cream & cheese. $10.00 The flautas were fried hard, crispy, perfect. The chicken inside was seasoned beautifully, moist, and delicious. The chicken game is strong over here.

I ordered Chicken Enchiladas: Mixing not available. Half Order $6.00. Honestly, the half order was more than enough for one person. The plate also comes with pintos and rice. Enchiladas...the chicken again was seasoned beautifully, moist, and delicious. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed the chicken dishes here. The mole sauce was perfect for me, not too overpowering with cinnamon. The molten lava cheese on top was icing on the cake. These enchiladas cut pretty easily with a plastic fork. I hate plastic forks. Just had to get that out. Beans...good taste, just what I wanna taste when I get pintos. Rice...ok, soft, fluffy, almost dry.

Tacos!!!!!! I order tacos: carnitas, pastor, chorizo. Carnitas....solid, flavorful, on the edge of dry with the 2 tortillas. Pastor...ok at best, also on the edge of dry, and I couldn't taste the pineapple in there. Chorizo...good char, up there with the best I've tried. I recommend you go with this meat for sure.

The green salsa was a creamy, spicy, cilantro and was the buisness! The darker red salsa was more of a chipotle style. I can't ever rate these because I think...

GOOD NEWS: They have finally started giving me the extra sauce i wanted with my tacos!

BAD NEWS: I decided to try something new. The Chicken Parm Sub. It was terrible. Not only was the breaded chicken cut into small squares(?), but the chicken was thin, chewy, slimy and discolored. It is nothing like the nice crispy chicken they use on say a Crispy Chicken Salad. The chicken on the chicken parm was the worst chicken ive tried, anywhere. I know bread takes a toll while traveling, but it was like they took a frozen roll and threw it in the oven to toast before going out the door, it had the texture of being stale. I wouldnt feed it to my worst enemy.

Im giving it 1 star until I know for sure im not going to be getting sick from it. Then i might give it 2 stars because atleaset the cheese and marinara was okay.

Old Review: 3/5 Foods good but they have a hard time reading instructions with online orders. No matter what I try, I cannot get them to give me extra green sauce with my tacos. Is it a price thing? Then put the paid option on the online system and I'll gladly pay for extra sauce. Is there a secret code or phrase I must say to get extra green sauce? I’ve been getting food from KC’s for the past year and half now. Makes me think how many years I’ve missed out on there delicious food. I don’t write reviews, like at all. I’m purely writing my review because they deserve it. Over the year and a half of ordering food from them, they have not once delivered me food that wasn’t slamming! From there friendly staff to there delivery drivers. I order so often I’m friends with one of the delivery drivers Alex. There burritos, pizza, subs and everything else I’ve tried are amazing. You can not go wrong with KC’s. Just tried there pollo Enchilada for the first time. IT WAS SO AMAZING I HAD TO GIVE THE REVIEW. IVE BEEN BROKEN DOWN BY THERE AMAZING FOOD I had to leave a review. My one goal in life is when I finally get married, is to have enough money to have KC’s cater my wedding. I’m not joking the food is slamming. All my roommates eat from there and everyone I had try the food was just as amazed as me. I hope this place never goes out of business. I’m not joking the food is amazing and you won’t regret it. 10/10 In my book. Can not go wrong with anything...
