Its my favorite place to shop when I'm hungry!!! I get my breakfast sandwich and yogurt plus a yummy blueberry muffin Or I might get one of their small quiches to have for the next day I love their baked brie to take to special events I loved the variety of soups for dinner or their pot pies Now when it comes to sweets ........... the strawberry shortcake and small pumpkin pies are my favorites The whole staff is fantastic, the chefs are very creative and on holidays you must check what they have created for the weekend!!! In other words check out what is on their menu everyday!!!! The salads and sandwiches change all the time! OLD WORLD BREADS HAS PUT NASSAU , DELAWARE ON THE MAP AS A NECESSARY PLACE TO GO WHETHER YOU ARE A LOCAL...

If you're looking for specialty baked breaded items like cookies, muffins, pies, quiche, old world bread offers a big selection. We typically stop on our trip back home from the beach and get a few items for ourselves and as gifts. We are always happy with everything we get. In addition to our usual, we ordered coffee and hot breakfast sandwiches for the trip back, and were very disappointed. Coffee, despite being espresso, was weak and tasteless. The breakfast sandwich is an omelet between a 'brioche' aka hamburger or potato bun without condiments. So they were very dry and flavorless, definitely not worth the $8.50 price point. All in all, they do a great job with their bakery items and will continue ordering the items...

What a great bakery! Not a single loaf of bread on the shelf is something you should pass by. Try any one of them and you'll be impressed. In addition, the croissants, muffins and breakfast sandwiches are scrumptious.

I decided to buy a lunch there as well. I bought the Thai Coconut Lentil soup (vegan) and it was marvelous. That paired perfectly with their Turkey BLT sandwich (clearly not vegan). Very hearty lunch on a cold rainy day.

If you are in Lewes, go out of your way to find this place. The waiting area is very small and gets crowded quickly so you may have to wait outside... dress appropriately. They also sell out of baked goods quickly so go early...
