My son and I stopped here after hitting a thrift store he wanted to see just up the street. We saw the simple "Tortilla" sign and my spider senses started tingling as some of the best Hispanic eats are humble settings. My son wasn't too excited about it but we walked up and saw about 12 menu items of tacos, quesidillas, and some items available by the pound like tortillas and salsa. The cashier was a sweet lady, I ordered in Spanish a couple chicken tacos, chorizo tacos, quesidillas and some tortillas to take home. She offered some chips and salsa while we waited and they were amazing, I already couldn't wait for the main course. The tacos were double layered with fresh tortillas. I expected a bit more flavor to the chicken but it was still great and the chicken was shredded and nearly melted in tge mouth. I suddenly regretted not ordering the flank steak taco too but next time. Just 2 tacos and a quesidilla and my son and I were stuffed. We don't live nearby but will definitely stop next time...
Read moreI highly recommend this place if you really want to have authentic tortillas. The quality is compared to the high end tortillerías in Mexico. The tortillas are made from scratch, and I mean from zero, the owners purchase the corn to local producers and process it to make the dough, then they bake the tortillas, the end result is the best tortilla you can get in Delaware and probably other states. If you have a crave for real Mexican food stop by and get a pound of tortillas and get pound of the pulled pork (cochinita pibil). If you want something with crunch get a bag of chips, they are made from the same tortillas and they are perfect for nachos, chilaquiles or with their home made salsa. I’ve been a customer for almost 2 years and I’ve never been disappointed with their products or...
Read moreBUY YOUR TORTILLAS HERE! Outstanding little mom and pop shop with homemade corn tortillas. If you are making your own tacos, stop by and grab the tortillas they make fresh daily. And while you’re at it, snag a bag of tortilla chips and a container of Jack Attack Salsa. The salsa is always a hit whether I take it to a party or hide it in the back of the fridge to eat it all myself. Furthermore, the price you pay for the quality of their products is an outstanding value. The owners are happy people who get to know their customers. They close on holidays so plan ahead, but I’ll happily plan to patronize this business on days they are open so they can spend holidays with their family like most...
