Hickory Pit BBQ — Restaurant in Delphos

Tried to call two times at 1pm. First call rang over 20 times. 2nd call rang about 5 times and someone picked up the phone and hung up. Called at 1:50pm & ordered food. Employee on the phone said the delivery driver wouldn’t be in until 2.I Said okay and continued with order. At 2:50pm we called back as we live in town. Different employee answered and said the card didn’t go through and the phone number wasn’t working. We read the card off 2 times to the first employee who answered, and she read it back, same with the phone number. We give the card number to the employee again and he just says okay bye and we weren’t told if the card went through or anything. Turns out he didn’t even try yet, but if it wouldn’t work again the phone “didn’t work” so how would we have been contacted. Call back in another hour? The first female employee had attitude the whole call with us. At 3:25pm we get our food. Missing an appetizer, sauce (no big deal) and the fries were soggy and tasted like they had been microwaved multiple times. First time eating here will...

Ok so, I was passing through and decided to get off of this exit for some taco bell. However, I missed the taco bell driveway and pulled into this location to make a u turn. Then I realized that I did not have any cash on me to purchase my taco bell, so I came in here to use the ATM machine. I noticed that this place has a full service kitchen. Took a look at the menu and decided to try the wings and onion rings. OMG! I orderd 6 wings with the sweet heat sauce....🤤😀.... I have never tasted wings like this before.( except for my wife's wings) 😉... These wings are perfectly cooked and very saucy. Onion rings were awesome as well. In addition, it was very affordable. This place would receive no stars from me if it was an option. On 2/11/24... the young man who took our order wouldn't speak up and speak clearly. Couldn't understand him. Ordered 12 wings. Half and half. Husband picked up and was told very rudely he can't do that. Have to order 2 orders of 6 piece. 6 piece is 6.99. 12 piece is 12.99. The lady then proceed to give my husband a receipt and took it back! I called and asked for a manager or supervisor and was told there wasn't one. Young man said the cook was in charge. She gets on the phone and I asked for clarification. She was rude! And I asked about my receipt and she told me they don't give receipts unless asked for!
