Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Deltona

The food from this store is good when they get it right. So the first time, I ordered a Detroit pizza and got the pizza, but it was missing sauce and a topping. They did call to tell us the didn't have sauce on top and we shouldn't have been able to order- we said just use the pizza sauce we don't care or nothing at all if you're not allowed to do that, we will take the pizza anyways. Also ordered mild wings and unfortunately got the super spicy ones, even the dog wouldn't eat them. Gave them a call they apologized said we shouldn't have been able to orderthe pizza the campaign had ended and that they understood the wings and credited us for the cost of the wings, said to call when we wanted to order again. Months go by, and we decide on pizza. Ordered a big NY pizza not expecting much, was told 15-20 minutes for delivery. Cool. Two hours later, I called to ask if maybe they had delivered it to the wrong place or if the driver was okay because no pizza, no call. W was apologized to profusely and told the order would be sent out asap, and a coupon for a free pizza should be with the receipt for the inconvenience. Cool, I didn't ask for it, but thanks. Not even 5 minutes later, there was a cold pizza box on my doorstep with no label, no receipt, nothing. Called back and was hung up on twice, decided they must have gotten busy so called back the next day, to ask for an emailed receipt and to let them know I was not happy they delivered a cold pizza that did not have the extra toppings I had paid for. I was told again, sorry we have credited your "account." Just call us to place an order next time, and we can use it... so the cycle continues. The food is good, and the pizza was great when it was re-heated,a bit dry, but definitely pizza huts take on NY pizza. I've also ordered just tubs of wing sauce before and cooked my own at home using chicken legs like giant wings.. way better. Cheap sauce and they are happy to sell you a few tubs (50c each for 2oz) easiest order of their night. However i suspect they aren't paid enough and are struggling for staff, perhaps the owners should consider a higher wage to attract more workers and help the ones there so they can stop giving free customer...

I don’t normally do this, but I want to put Pizza Hut on blast. Typically I don’t eat pizza much any more. When I do I normally eat local family owned type places. I love a good thin and crispy crust pizza. Pizza Hit happens to have one…. Normally. The last time I ordered one, I ordered extra cheese and pepperoni. When I got it, it had like 1/2 cheese….. and it was $20 (pick up) for 1 thin crust pizza. I tried to order one tonight. Instead of ordering online, I called the local store’s number and apparently was routed to a call center. I figured that about half way through the call. I ordered my specific pizza and mentioned the cheese situation last time and she “noted this” with my order. (When i realized it was a call center…). I ordered a second pizza and the total was $40. Expensive imho for “express pizza” but whatever. So I was about to pay, and was told that I had to be the person to pick it up. I told them my son-in-law or daughter would be picking it up. They said their policy is that the person paying with a credit card had to be the person to pick it up! I said I can give you the name of the person picking it up. They said that they couldn’t guarantee he’d be able to pick it up. Fed up I finally just said, nevermind, I’ll just order from somewhere else. So we ordered from a local family owned shop. Insanity! Well, when we get to the Midwest, I’ll have to get my Pizza Hut fix from and old fashion store like it used to be. They are still a dine-in with a salad bar! I will never order from a Pizza Hit again unless it is dine-in with a salad...

Place a pick up order since we were out and about already rather that using delivery from our original Pizza Hut which is Providence. Pick up order got home to realize there was no cheese on the pizza, appeared to be thrown together. Burn crust. No cheese looks like they dumped a medium size spoon in the middle and smeared it around, a large pizza Called the store and asked for manager. I asked over the phone when I was advised by manager they could remake the order followed by question would I have to drive all the way back up there from the other side, I was asked my address and she repeated it and responded “it’s not an address it’s saying nothing for the address”. Finally got it after confirmation of my address! She then states “oh you’re not in the delivery zone for you”! So long behold we were invited back to come pick up a remade pizza and get the missing sauces! Handed the pizza back nothing missing and she brought new remade order told me I could check and open the box and I’m serious, looks the same exact way as the original messed up order” NO CHEESE BUT BLAZING HOT. We were told “I’ll have to speak to my cook see what’s going on because that’s not acceptable. I was just looking at the original and now this one and I see. I promise you there was MULTIPLE ORDERS TONIGHT LIKE OURS WITH HOPEFULLY A COMPLAINT BEHIND THEM AS WELL. After long shift of working, and having to return, and my gas. Full refund we’ll stick with the Providence Family....
