Ken's Donuts — Restaurant in Denison

The one morning that I didn't have any cash on me and needed coffee for drive to hospital and they wouldn't let me use credit card for purchase after having used credit card many times in past to purchase dozens donuts several times Couldn't eat that AM due to doing lab tests. Suggested they just charge me $5.00 for my coffee and they refused. Said in broken English with Korean accent " coffee cash only no cedit card". The first time I got donuts there, they were so stale I couldn't believe it. I finally tried them again. They weren't stale, but the maple bar barely had any flavor and the cream they put in it was pretty skimpy. I had to ask if there was any glaze on the cinnamon roll because it sure didn't look like it. There was barely any cinnamon taste to it and the glaze had to be extremely watered down because it really was almost non-existent. ...

My wife and I moved to Denison last year. Of course, one of the first things you do is find a good donut shop! We absolutely love Ken's and the staff! Not only are the donuts amazing and jumbo kolaches amazing, but when we go home to Oklahoma on Saturdays, my mom reminds me "don't forget my donuts, and they have to be Ken's"! So...it is Saturday at 6:30am, and here we are!...
