I really wanted to speak with the owner of this store before posting this review but I must say I was absolutely appalled by my experience yesterday and I ended up spending over $500 at another local store in Sherman so I took the extra 15 minute drive because I entered the store on Morton street after calling twice from the parking lot and not a soul was in the store the 2 girls inside didn't answer the phone so finally I go in And they don't even greet us offer us any help and then finally when I go up to the counter I told them that we would like to switch from cricket and it was absolutely awful service and we hated cricket and we would please like to come back to metro. So she begins to tell us well we can't help you you need to call cricket and find out how long you've been with them you can't just be switching back-and-forth like that like thinking we're trying to dislike scam metro or something who I've been with for over 10 years! I was absolutely offended and will never spend a penny at that store I will take the extra drive any day of the week rather than deal with horrible employees that refuse to help their customer And make them feel appreciated like they should! It was ONLY AFTER WALKING BACK AND FORTH INTO BACKROOM SEVERAL TIMES SPEAKING VERY LOW (SUSPICIOUS) AND UNTIL I said that if his Internet was not working right...(HE SAID THAT TO ME), that I will just go to another store, then he sped up the process and said "your phone is already transferred to Metro. BUT THE WORST PART is when I asked him about signing up for AUTOPAY for the $5.00 discount, he INSISTED THAT ONLY HE CAN SUBMIT MY CARD INFO. I COULD NOT, OR ELSE I WOULDNT GET THE $5 DISCOUNT...I REFUSED AND LEFT. I GOT IT DONE ON MY PHONE IN LESS THAN 1 MINUTE. WHY WAS HE TRYING TO GET MY CARD INFO FOR? 😒 SHADY, SHADY. I had a terrible experience with this store. They sold me a tablet advertised as having 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage @ $10 a month for service, but what I received was a device with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage @ $20 a month in service. When I pointed out the mistake, they agreed to fix it and adjust my bill to $45 a month for unlimited service on both my phone and my tablet as compensation. I even had a signed document from them confirming this agreement.
However, when I returned to resolve the issue as instructed, they made unauthorized changes to my account. They completely removed my internet service and failed to apply the promised unlimited plan. To make matters worse, the employee refused to give my paperwork back, leaving me with no proof of the agreement.
This store is running a scam, falsely advertising specs and offers to lure customers in and then refusing to honor their commitments. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Their practices are dishonest, and they lack...
