I would not change much about the review below. The basics were all really good. The Margarita and the service were excellent. I had the chili relleno with ranchero sauce. It was mostly good but I didn't care for the giant slimy onions all over the top (I usually like onions). The pepper had a few weird dried out spots as well. Over all it was pretty good and seasoned well. Connie had the enchiladas she said they were good. I still believe it is a good place but still just can't see 5 stars, especially at that price point. --------(older review below)--------- This is one of those places you just want to give 5 stars because they are friendly, good service and clean. Overall they have great food. There standard food rice, beans, salsa, chips are all excellent I just dont feel like the food we had this trip quite deserved 5 stars. The big problem was the fajita meat on the tacos was super dry and the corn tortillas had a rubbery dry texture they fell apart before you could get it picked up. However they seemed to be seasoned well and had a really good green sauce with them. My wife had chicken Enchiladas she said they were good but the chicken had no seasoning but salt helped a little. I would definitely still recomend. They have a large menu that I'm sure has lots of 5 star quality food. ---------(older review below)-------- Great food, everyone was friendly. The tea was good this time. We haven't been there in a while because the last trip the tea tasted like Denison water. Their food has always been good. I had the three gringos. It was all good. The chips and salsa were good as well. Everything seemed very clean.

The atmosphere originally was Garcias Cantina, but the restaurant has not been able to change out some of the decor. Chips and salsa were delicious. The Pancho Villa dish was decent sized for near 14.00 dollar price and they actually serve sopapillas as I remember they should. The eight layer dip is worth the slightly near 11.00 dollar price considering today’s economy. Kent’s Tex Mex is definitely worth the trip if you are in town. They don’t allow a 4.8 rating or that is what I would have put.

We love this place! A place our entire family can agree on. They have a mango margarita with tajin on the rim that I thoroughly enjoy! One of my favorites is the chicken quesadillas or the app with taquitos and quesadillas! I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys texted as much as I do! However, if you're not feeling mexican food and others are they off a huge chicken fried steak, that's delicious!

First time coming to this Kent's tex-mex my friend had the chicken enchiladas with sour cream on top I had the cheese enchiladas rice and beans I could not eat the cheese enchiladas the cheese was very chewy so I could not eat my meal the only thing I could eat was the rice and the refried beans which were very good surprisingly the cheese on top of the refried beans was just fine the chips tasted like store-bought and we're not hot when they first arrived to our table the hot sauce was okay we both had sweet tea and that was very good when we first pulled into the parking lot we almost hit the front end of the car because of the drive-thru has a big gap in the side of the street as you pull in the parking lot and as you leave the parking lot we will not be back the jalapeno tree is 10 times better and I might come with my sister and give it another try and try the chicken fajitas if that improves then I will give a better review on the chicken fajitas...

my wife went to the varied locations from when she was 10 yrs old. same restaurant same order...29 years. chicken fajitas (no set-up) beans cheese only. flour torts...xtra salsa. dr pepper no ice ( a texan knows it kills the flavor) for NO reason , 2 veteran waitstaff ( 1 served my wife most of her life...part of the insult was being handed menus..."they've known the order for 25 years?") took upon themselves to make visits difficult. the ultimate texas insult? COKE WITH ICE? it's 30 years dr pepper no ice. keep that non texas trash. we quit. never been back. broke my wifes heart. i had been going with her since 08, at least once a week. i was only a fan for her. was never...
