first thing-they didn’t talk to me through the speaker for at least two minutes, no one in line in front of me, cut me off several times when i was ordering my drink which was supposed to be the famous cotton candy frappuccino (i asked them for a grande vanilla bean crème frappuccino with 2 pumps of raspberry syrup and no whipped cream) and then they proceeded to not tell me my total. got to the window and asked me if i got the green tea. there was one person behind me so i understand the mix up and told them politely it was the vanilla bean with raspberry syrup. (this entire time the girl was being rude also) she just said “oh one sec” and went and got my drink. it was snow white and i asked “does it have the raspberry syrup in it?” she responded “yeah” and i said thank you and went on my way as there was someone else behind me. first thing i noticed was it was white (which with the raspberry syrup it’s supposed to be pink) and watery as heck. second thing i noticed was it was a venti and not a grande, and third thing i noticed is that it was straight watered down vanilla. no raspberry in it whatsoever. it was supposed to taste like cotton candy. wow. i even asked the girl before i left the drive thru if there was raspberry in it and there clearly was not. i was so excited for this drink and now i have a venti watered down vanilla whatever i was given. i have major social anxiety so i couldn’t go back and say something so that’s why i’m leaving a review. and this isn’t the first time i was given poor service either, i live close by so i like to go sometimes when i feel like treating myself but it’s really not worth going if my order is going to be wrong and the customer service is poor. but hey, at least they didn’t give me...
Read moreI periodically stop at the Starbucks in Denton, Maryland, on my way to or from the beach. It’s newish and still very clean. As I was waiting in line to order yesterday, I was surprised to learn customers needed a code to access the bathrooms. The team members kept shouting the door code to customers in need while trying to take orders from other customers. Why make the bathroom seem like your prized possession and kept under lock and key?
Worse, when ordering my coffee I asked to leave room for cream but was met with, “we do the cream back here how much do you need?”. A quick swivel and I realized there is no longer cream, sugar, cinnamon out for customers to access. I quickly make up a quantity of cream…2 Tablespoons.
A few minutes later, my coffee is served. No cream. I ask the very busy barista for cream and obviously she’s annoyed by my request. No doubt, and understandably, my inconvenience is now her inconvenience. She offers me oat milk which isn’t cream. Then she brings me a little plastic cup filled to the brim with cream. I toss half of what she brings.
What the hell is happening in Denton that you can’t use the facilities or fix your coffee without intervention? Is keeping carafes with dairy/non-dairy and sugar simply too much to manage? Is there a need to announce to the entire restaurant you need to pee...
Read moreI went to this location with a complicated order expecting that they would be ready to comply with my request. Unfortunately that’s now how this transaction went. I pulled up to the drive through and order my drink, during the conversation I repeated my order three times with specific instructions on how to make my drink. When it came time to pull up to the window I waited about 5 min before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. She handed me my drink and I could already tell it wasn’t made right. When I corrected her she told me and I quote, “ I’ve been making this type of drink for years. I know how it’s supposed to be made.” At this point, I was furious, but I didn’t get angry. I simply complied and told her how it was specifically supposed to be made again, and she proceeded to tell me to pull forward which I did. I again waited about another five minutes until which point a young man brought out my drink, and deeply apologized on her behalf. So to the young man who brought out my drink to me. I greatly appreciate you and hope that you can find a better job than working with...
