UPDATE: We went back the next day to get our missing sundae and I just asked for the missing sundae and ordered a second one. Roy (the GM) overheard the convo and came over to talk with me. He could not have been any more awesome! He apologized and said the situation has already been discussed with staff. He apologized and truly cared. We got our missed sundae and he gifted us another one, along with several coupons. We appreciate you Roy!! TY also for replying to my post so quickly. We ordered two turtle split sundaes. We asked for the hot fudge and caramel to be in to go containers as our sundaes will melt by the time we get home. As our order was $16 and some change, I gave a $3 tip in appreciation of the extra effort. However, once we got home, there was only one sundae. I called and spoke with Jacob who said was the assist general manager. We were not going back to get the missing sundae due to having already made a stop for hot food and the Super Bowl was about to start. As we had paid cash, we couldn’t be refunded via credit card. Read moreThis wasn't a perfect first impression. The store seemed to be understaffed and prioritizing the drive thru. We had never been there before so we parked to look at the menu so we wouldn't hold up the drive thru line. We looked at the menu, made our selection and approached the window. It took almost 5 minutes for someone to help us. A group was behind us and it took them about another 3 minutes to help them.
The custard was good, but it was very rich. I ordered the large and couldn't finish it.
Prices were also higher than I expected (nearly $8 for one). Now this can be forgiven if they are paying employees a fair wage and not taking tips, but I saw a tip jar near the register so I don't know. However, I am in full support of not having to add onto the bill and it be factored into the price.
