Castañedas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Denver

My friend and out 2 kids came in. We asked if we could sit out side. The guy who was our waiter was nice but the lady who brought us our drinks brought one at a time and got them all wrong. We ordered 2 fruit punch drinks and they brought us cokes. Then I had to ask 3 times for a water which I ordered at the beginning. Then one if the kids spilled their drink all over the table and we had to ask for napkins and only got 3 I walked away with some on my feet.and they didn't even offer to help with the mess. They brought our food out and I explained that I had a 2-go order as well. It came with our meals when I asked for it not to so it wouldn't be cole when I got it home. They rushed us the entire time and brought our receipt with out meal then immediately asked if we needed boxes. We had just gotten our meals... really. I gave been a patron for 4 years and this is hands down the worst experience I have had with them. Honestly they even got my 2-gonkrder wrong i ordered 3 tacos and got 1. When I asked them for the other 2 they had shut down the grill and basically told us "oh well". I paid over $100 for this meal and it was a terrible experience. Never again! I was treated like shit and the kids were feeling it too. I am so disappointed because the food is usually good ...when I get what I asked for and don't basically have it shoved down my throat. They legit sat there Nd had 3 people clearing the table before I could even finish boxing up our food. The lady when I went to pay asked how everything was and I actually told her to please not ask me that and she was like sounds like it wasn't good. I was lime no it was very not good. She was like OK put your card here. What a disappointment that was. So frustrated and missed off!

Took my children there about a month ago and it started to rain. My daughter asked for the Mexican root beer and she brought her a can of root beer and never said a word. Took it up to her and she said they were out of the the Mexican 🤦‍♀️. We were the only people in the restaurant and it started to rain. The ceiling started to leak and then fell in! They brought a bucket. As we sat waiting for food 2 more leaks happened and more ceiling fell in. We were in the back room and all these leaks were in the doorway we needed to use to get in the main part of the restaurant. 20 minutes later the food came and my children told the waitress they were afraid to eat there and we wanted to leave. They had the NERVE to charge us for the food and never apologized about the leaks and falling ceiling! I have video and pictures of it but I don’t know how...

I was just having one of those days that I needed a little pick me up, and that's exactly what I got. Food was very fairly priced, and more importantly was absolutely delicious. The rice tasted just like the arroz my grandmother would make me, tacos were perfect and I prefer them the traditional way and not smothered in toppings (although there is the option to add toppings should one so choose). In addition to the amazing food, the staff was so pleasant to interact with. Big sweet smile on the woman behind the counters face with an attitude to match. The young lady assisting the tables had an equally friendly demeanor. Wish I knew their names to personally thank them. But I will be back sometime soon! Thank you for the...
